If you're a smelly ass biker, you'll no doubt love this place. I am not a smelly ass biker nor do I…read morehave any smelly ass biker friends. Therefore, I don't feel at home in this trashy ass bar. That said, JTs Roadhouse comes with a lovely odor of leather and racism. And, if you enjoy the prospect of getting into a bar fight, tighten your confederate flag bandana, because this is your place. If you are looking for brand specific liquors like Jameson or Grey Goose, you won't find them here. Of course they have Budweiser and Bud Light because this is 'Merica. But, if you want any kind of craft beer or an IPA that those tofu eatin' hippies drink, you won't find that here either. The decor is mostly wood paneling, and not even nice wood paneling (is there such a thing?). Chairs and stools are super uncomfortable and there's a good chance you can score some cocaine here. I guess that's a good thing in some circles. You'll likely get into several inaudible conversations with really drunk regulars. I'm talking stumbling Wild West saloon style wasted drunk. Some find that entertaining but after a while of repeatedly yelling back "what did you say?!", it gets annoying. Staff is impatient and rude. They take too long to bring your drink or bring your change. The owners screwed the band I went there to see out of money. So, beware doing business with these chaps. I gave it two stars, because I ordered some tater tots here and while they took a while to get to me, they were pretty delicious, but then again, how hard is it to fuck up tater tots? In conclusion, I wouldn't go here because I think it is awesome, because it clearly is NOT. However, if you don't shower on a regular basis and are missing more than three teeth, this may be your place. JT's is not a dive bar. Dive bars have character. This place is just sadness with Harley Davidson's in the parking lot.

Presently named the No Name Bar, the sign in front shows no name. Fitting. I was told by my friends that a taco/food truck would be stopping in, as well. Having just eaten a full breakfast elsewhere, tacos (or anything else) was not appealing. Janelle crooned the tunes, I enjoyed laughing and catching up with my friends, a few I have not seen in years, and enjoyed the Spring weather out on the back deck. After time passed and no taco food truck, it was discovered that there was a "Make Your Own Taco" bar at the outside bar. Having no success locating the No Name Bar in Yelp, the owner disclosed the former name, hence this review. If not for my friends being present, I wouldn't have stopped in. They, along with Janelle who joined our table at her breaks, made the visit an enjoyable afternoon.

My girlfriends & I have been here a few times over the last year, mostly when it was Uncle Fats…read more This location is perfect for us because we are coming from Land O'Lakes and Town & Country. Now, it's Tom's Tavern, and they've made some changes. But this is still a fun spot for our casual girls nights! A few caveats: Tom's Tavern has a much smaller menu and no sangria. But we found lots of options on the new menu, and everything we ordered was delicious. I was happy to see they still have tater tots, and my girlfriends enjoyed their wings. Plus our server created a decadent cocktail for one of us with peanut butter whiskey, Bailey's & banana liqueur (a variation of an Elvis shot). We enjoyed tasting the first one so much that all of us ordered it next round! For my meal, I decided on the chicken tenders, which came with either potato salad or cole slaw, and choice of fries or tots. Unfortunately, the potato salad was served in a plastic container smaller than the dipping sauce cups. It was thick & tasty but I'm not sure why the portion size was so tiny! That aside, my tenders & tots were perfectly deep-fried, and I loved the house-made honey mustard & ranch sauces. This bar food is on point! Note, Tom's Tavern is suffering from a slim staff, as so many restaurants are. Luckily we were not in a hurry so we didn't mind. The two servers were definitely hustling all night, working all the tables. Tom's Tavern still hosts outstanding local live music. On our recent Friday night visit, JT Curtis & the Florida Scoundrels took the stage at 9pm for several long sets of mostly country music. This intimate venue is such a fun place to see talented musicians! Of course we'll return to Tom's Tavern. The location is convenient, plus they have tons of parking available in the plaza. The vibe is like a dive bar, but much cleaner & with better music. Edited to add the 5th star... Since posting this review, we have visited again. Service is still not speedy, but our food was delicious and our waitress remembered us & our custom cocktail!
