My wife says it's the best patty melt in the central valley, I love the Ortega burger. The fries are seasoned perfectly. The menu is so big that we haven't even come close to exploring everything, partly because our favorites are so good . Get off Highway 65 and head down Hermosa to the roundabout and treat yourself. And don't forget the soft serve ice cream!

It's been 1 year and 3 months since I last ate here. I thought I'd give them a second chance but nope, same scam. Now I have to dig through my trash to find the receipt so I can go pay them a visit. Last time this happened, I think it was March 2024. The manager or owner whoever it was told me there's a password on the card terminal that only he can access to re-process sales and that he "accidentally hit a button" that caused it. I call BS. My gut says: never come back here. Once I find the receipt, I'll post a photo showing no tip. If the owner tries to show a receipt with a tip added, then they forged it and I'll demand to see the CCTV footage of me signing that receipt. How does this keep happening to me? And how does no one else ever check their bank notifications? Found the receipt here's the photo. Update: 6/24/2025, 1:00 PM I went to speak with the manager or owner. The lady at the register said they haven't seen the owner in weeks. She told me I could take cash on the spot or wait for him. I was like, "Weeks? Yeah, no. I'm not waiting weeks for my $2.18 back." So I took the cash. I didn't need to play the long game with the bank which can take months or sue for $2 (which, ironically, could later cost the owner hundreds of thousands in court and recovery fees... plus the $2). And yes, I'm that petty. If you know your card terminal is doing this, and you didn't even argue when I mentioned being overcharged then why haven't you changed your terminal or processor in the 1 year and 3 months since it last happened? It's as if you're the one doing it. Trying to quietly score an extra couple bucks per customer. Some might say, "It's just $2, let it go." But if they're doing this to every customer, all day, every day? That adds up. It's like those movies where a bank teller notices one cent going to waste, writes some code to collect the spare change, and ends up making millions. her hands were visibly shaking when handing me the $2 back. she knew. didnt even argue nor deny it. lost my business forever can't keep allowing this to happen, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." yelp wont let me post the receipt but you can see my review on google. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/geougc-cs/AB3l90D63s_eonILt4wyWUPs59rT2WsdgXs8Bpv9KHj9yBplyY44I5YT2ZzPGAEfgx1Qo108qOO0wKlBozVt2_g4SgXh1CcDOyQ_U7bYIwB_O1mXmG0fZOgVLB811yRzGrnYX5CRwO3CxgTdTYXv=s3360-w3360-h1798-rw

Our food came out in a timely manner and it looked really good. It looked like they cared what and how they made their food. I ordered their version on the BLT with avocado that had a pesto mayo and my husband ordered their special of the day, the Jalapeño smash burger. They were both good but my BLT was just okay. The bun was nice and soft but had very little of the mayo besto and for the size of the bun so I had to ask for more. They filled the bun with a good amount of avocado, lettuce, tomato, and red onions, there was only two thin pieces of bacon in my sandwich so my husband gave me two pieces from his burger to fill the bread to bacon ratio. The sandwich could have been better in my opinion if a shredded ice burger lettuce would have been used for the crunch factor since the bread was so soft and by using a thick cut of bacon for that sandwich. I don't know about my husband but I left there very unsatisfied and I was ready to by me some chicken stripe at the corner gas station.

The food was soooooo flavorful. You could taste the care and love that this kind man put into each dish. We had the combo plate with beef and chicken shawarma. Tatziki plate with pita, and three sweet desserts. The hummus with olive oil was amazing. The tatziki was incredible and had spices that were so well balanced and deep. There was a sweet girl who seemed very new but very sweet. The man who prepared our food put such love and care into all of it. It felt like we were eating in someone's home. On a separate note... many small businesses are really hurting in today's economy. One unnecessary, negative review can hurt a family trying to make a living. Please write reviews with this in mind. But seriously.... For those who know real middle eastern cuisine... You're going to love it. This place was phenomenal.

My husband had been raving about this place and asked for us to go together so i was open to trying it. The two siblings working greeted us and were so welcoming. They offered us lentil soup with our meal which I'm not one to get excited over lentil soup but I would come in here for just that because of how delicious it is. We were told they make it every day and it is seriously so flavorful and yummy. Our plates were equally delicious and full as you can see by the attached photo. I will definitely be back. It was so refreshing to have a nice meal with such excellent service. I definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try.

I usually get the $10 Gotta Habit meal, which comes with half of a Santa Barbara, five piece chicken bites, and your choice of a garden salad, fries, or tempura green beans, and a drink. The salads are always fresh and packed; the tempura green beans are always light and crisp, and the fries are decent. Their new garlic, parmesan cheese fries are good with a funky flavor. When they had their tempura avocado wedges, it became my habit, they were perfectly fried, crisp on the outside and warm and creamy on the inside with a hint of citrus. Their dragonfruit limeade is also my favorite, but it's seasonal. The staff are always nice and friendly. I order ahead to beat the wait. It's usually chill inside even when it's busy.
