I believe all places can do better. But this is one of the nursing homes that really rises above them all not perfect, but it's a place where I trust for my father to be in.And that means a lot to families.

The nursing staff and CNAs are kind, attentive, and truly dedicated to their residents. They treat patients with patience and respect, which gives our family peace of mind. In these past few months, I've also noticed positive changes in the way things are being managed. The administration seems more involved and responsive, and communication with families has definitely improved. It's clear that they're making an effort to enhance the overall experience for residents and their loved ones. No facility is perfect, but I can confidently say that the team here genuinely cares and that makes all the difference. Grateful for the compassionate staff and the recent improvements that are truly noticeable! My father spent about a month here and we have mixed feelings about the facility…read more Pro: very single one of the floor staff was wonderful. They were attentive, polite, friendly, professional, helpful, and there were plenty of folks working on the floor. I never felt like I couldn't find someone to help. PT and OT came and worked with my dad every day. Staff brought his meals timely every day. CNA's did their best to help him dress, bathe, etc and were helpful and responsive to family members. We never felt like attention to the patient was lacking. Con: the office staff is not responsive at all. I left messages for case manager and billing dept. throughout my dad's stay, and none of them ever called me back ever. Only one time did anyone (social services director) ever return my call. The patient room space really sucks. Most available rooms have four people jammed in to rooms that look like they were designed for two people. I never knew a quad room even existed until my dad was sent here. When I asked for him to be moved to a two person room, none were available. I was told those were rarely available. My dad's curtained off space felt like about 10 x 12. No privacy and no room for visitors. Imagine four men in a room while one is on the phone, one has visitors, one is watching tv, and one has loud music on. All in the same room. Had to constantly reposition things in my dad's space (tv, wheel chair, bedside table, oxygen machine, chair for a visitor) depending on what you wanted access to at any given time. Could not open his closet without moving furnishings out of the way. Anyway it's acceptable for the nice floor staff, but I wished my dad was elsewhere because of all the other reasons.

My mom was admitted Dec 2025 and stayed a total of 100 days. The staff was AMAZING, from the Admission process, the CNAs, Physical Therapists, Social workers, LVNs, cooks etc. They treated my mom with such love and attention that they became our extended family. They kept in contact with us for any issues, minor or big. The place is SPOTLESS, their hygiene is above and beyond anyone's expectation. The Physical Therapy is top notch, mom went unable to move even when laying down to being able to get up with some assistance and walking with her walker again. Obviously every case is unique, but we were impressed and thankful to see her recoup to that level. The Social Worker was incredibly helpful in processing the care needed after her discharge, including programs covered under Medi-Cal, her professionalism and knowledge was highly appreciated. I am sad people don't take the time to write a review, but we wanted everyone to know how much we appreciated the care mom received.

He patiently listened and provided suggestions that help shape my mother's transition from assisted living, to returning back home. Tanner listed to all our needs and found a perfect match for us. All the stress we had all been experiencing, since my mother's fall as gone. My mother reported just how much help Brenda was and in a short few weeks, we could all see my mother bounced back. It would not have been possible with Tanner, Brenda and everyone at Loving Homecare. I never put much stock in on-line reviews, but the reviews for Loving Homecare is was made me make them my first call. They should be very proud of the services they provide. I am thankful for them.

Due to my previous experience with the care that she received there, I immediately contacted Diondra in admissions because I did not want my mom to go anywhere else. She got back to me immediately and assured me she will contact the caseworker at the hospital to coordinate the admission. The staff here is amazing and their attentive to care is great! I was there daily if possible but if for some reason, I could not visit I knew she was in good hands. David at the front lobby desk is so nice and friendly. I had things delivered to my mom a few times and he always made sure she got it. Her CNA's (that I can think of) Cindy, Maria, Alma, Miguel and Abby all did a great job and made my mom comfortable. Her LVN's Sydney, Stephanie and Ryan all made sure she got her medication when she needed it. Her nurses Nancy and Mercy were great! They went above and beyond supervising her care. Ramona the social worker set up all of her home health and was a big support for me as well. She's very compassionate and great at her job. The physical therapists Kyle, Scott, Sara, Rocco and Joseph pushed my mom and helped her build up her strength. The social activity coordinators Alex, Jeanette and Justine do a great job with the patients. It is never ideal when a loved one has to be placed in a long term care facility but when they are at a place and you know that they are being cared for by compassionate care givers who truly care about the patients, it really helps. My mom cried when she left because she was so grateful to all of the staff. I live in SELA and was willing to drive to La Mirada because it was a great place.
