I am in town visiting and was looking for a place that had Pittsburgh style salads with fries and…read morethis place came up in Yelp, so I ordered 2 of their steak and fries salads with blue cheese for take out. The place is just outside of town. The inside is cute with wood floors and ceiling. Looks kinda like a cabin inside. The staff was really nice and the salads were really good. While I was waiting for my food the bartender said to call in my orders instead of online ordering with door dash because the prices are better. I really appreciated her advice. So much so we ordered takeout again the following evening. We got the Outlaw burger and fries, the Cuban, and some fried pickles. Everything was really good. The Cuban was really big, I could only eat half. My boyfriend said his burger was a little more pink in the middle than he prefers but that it was still good. Next time I'm home visiting him, we will definitely be back. The portions are decent. Prices are a little bit higher than expected but the staff and food make it worth it to me. I know stuff costs more now so with that in mind too, I realize businesses have to adjust. It's worth checking out if you're in the Meadville area.

Definitely a fun roadhouse look outside and completely renovated inside, great bar, bunch of TVs and fun atmosphere. Menu was great, tons of good draft beers, bourbons and specialty cocktails. Probably 30 things on the food menu I would order. Lots of BBQ items mixed in. Burnt ends were tremendous. Wings were delicious. Brisket wrap was really good. We'll visit again next time at Allegheny College. Glad we found this gem.

I must say....I was impressed with Chef Chris's wings! His wing sizes are large!  The flappers…read moreremain unsplit, meaning the wingtip is still attached.  These wings are so large that even the wingtips offered up enough crispy skin and meat to warrant a few nibbles.  The wings themselves, as I said, were very big.  But also very high quality. No yucky gristle.  Fried perfectly.  And the meat pulls easily and cleanly from the bone.  Cant ask for more. The sauce is very good and offers a unique taste. He offers an appropriate amount of heat for the respective name. I have tried his other creations which are equally scrumptious! Great mouth feel.  Here's the best news of all.  Each and every one of my wings remained crispy till the very last bite!  Absolutely surprised me.  The crispy skins stayed crispy despite the spectacular sauce soaking them. In addition to the wings the server, Monica, suggested their Bahn Mi sandwich. I am glad she did because that sandwich is also awesome with the crunchy tater tots as the side dish! All in all, you won't go wrong with this gastropub food and selection of beer!!

This dish, is what a teen puts together when they're home alone for the first time and all mom and dad left were frozen pierogies, hot dogs and a jar of sauerkraut (or was it onions, not sure). You might see someone you had forgotten about and end up having a really good night reminiscing, or you may be unlucky and have an old nemesis sit down right next to you. At Chippers I've experienced both. Overall its not a bad setup. Two big screen TVs behind the bar, a jukebox with the usual bar assortment, and two lofts, one for just sitting and the other with a pool table. Take note that if you don't like cigarette smoke then you will probably hate it here. It seems like EVERYONE is blowing out more smoke than the Clariton Cokeworks. Prices are good. $1.25 for a 12oz draft and 2.50 for a well mix drink. I'm kinda thinking that they pour the mixed drinks a little weak, either that or I've built a ridiculous tolerance, cause I had quite a few and wasn't really feeling it. Chippers also has one of the larger bottled beer selections in Meadville. The wings are good if you are feeling food, otherwise I haven't tried anything on the menu.
