Usually by the time the beer is available here in Huntsville, it's almost through being brewed due to the short 3-4 month brewing time. I left my name and number hoping to hear good news. The next day I was called and told the distributor had a few cases. I quickly responded with "yes, I'll take them and thank you". I hot footed it over to Liquor Express and picked up my Hoptimum. If you have a specific spirit that you cannot find, please check with Liquor Express. They do a great job of finding craft beers for me.

The name on the tab when it was closed said "Kerrianne." Our company hosted our staff party next to this bar, and I have never been treated so rudely or inconsistently by a bartender in my life. From the moment I walked in, she rolled her eyes, snapped "Is anyone going to order or no?" and acted irritated that there were customers at a bar on a Saturday night in a busy city. When I ordered, she demanded ID (which I didn't have on me because this was an open bar tab for our staff exclusively and I was told "just tell them you're with the staff party", but I offered a photo of it on my phone). Instead of politely explaining their policy (which I would have respected), she just said "nope" with attitude, slid away, and refused to serve me. My husband, 28 with his ID in hand, then expressed wanting to order a drink, but she refused him too, claiming he would give it to me and cited "third party distribution." It was beyond absurd and completely soured us to the establishment immediately. Later, she publicly yelled in front of the packed place that she would "trespass" me for being handed a drink by a coworker when I came to talk to them. None of my coworkers, most even YOUNGER than me, were ID'd a single time. I asked at least fifteen people, and every one of them confirmed they were not asked for ID and were in disbelief at how I was treated. She repeatedly said "I could lose my job" to me, but obviously that "concern" did not apply to anyone else. It was selective and clearly personal and I have zero respect for that or how she handled it. After this she very unfairly accused my only Black male coworker of "giving me drinks," after the coworker who actually did told her directly that it was her. That makes me extremely uncomfortable and, sadly, aligns with multiple other reviews mentioning racial discrimination here. Disgusting to say the least. I completely respect ID laws and would have simply walked away, but there is a way to enforce them with professionalism, consistency, and basic respect. This bartender did NONE of those things and ruined what should have been a positive company event for a lot of us. It is shocking to me that she is even in this line of service when she so clearly dislikes talking to people, serving drinks, or consistently sticking to policies. I will never step foot in this place again and highly doubt it will be considered for any future staff gatherings ever again. Don't waste your time.

The owner and Brewer Carey, only bruise enough for the store location. He does not Kang. He does not miss produce it. If you wanna try his amazing beers. The only place you can go is to his establishment. To me, it makes a beer more special, because it's only intended for an intimate audience. And that's why my night was so epic. When we get to the Brewery. We are intrigued by the multiple selections., and the bar keep, was super polite and patient with us as we wanted to try samples of all the beers that intrigued us. Initially our goals just to have one beer and head to dinner. The bartender was super polite and patient with us. We finally decide on a pint and we head upstairs, because the Brewery is actively brewing beer. We wanted to peak in NC anything we could. We end up chatting with Carey, who is in the office. Carey, the owner and head brewer, was nothing but amazingly nice. They ran out of their tiramisu beer. I asked him how he brews such an interesting beer, he offered to give me the recipe. I settled on just a verbal explanation on how he does it. After him telling me his process there's no doubt my mind that this guy is an absolute genius and truly passionate about his micro Brewery and his beers. Carey it's kind enough to explain the history of the building of the Brewery and some of the artifacts that he actually has in the Brewery. I really appreciate the eclectic look in knowing the history behind everything makes it even more special. Green bus brewery is truly a Hometown local bar. Our intended one beer turned into three. And we were socializing with the owner and his patrons. They made us feel like family. They gave us stories about the town about the Brewery. I can understand why people go back on a regular basis. I travel about 70% of the year, and I'm away from home and that feeling is not lost on me. However, last night having a beer at Green bus Brewery, I honestly felt like I was at home thanks to Carey and his wonderful patrons. I've been to the Christmas party, it was well done. Not sure how the Gatsby party went, I was day drinking that day and didn't make it. There are a lot of big screen tvs around the place, some kind of music jukebox things, karaoke, pool etc. My only complaint, and I know it's a bar...but the smoking. I enjoy a cigar, so being able to enjoy one while there is great, but cigarettes stink IMO. I don't care to smell like it. I will go back and do recommend Bishop's, only been to there Winchester location.
