They sell fine handmade cards and stationary alongside some of the best current literature. Books run the gamut from NYTimes bestsellers in fiction and nonfiction to local authors and book club favorites. Most titles are thought-provoking and intense sounding and a little on the edge of mainstream notoriety which is great if you're looking to find some new authors or experiment in new genres. Every time I visit, they give great recommendations and I have never been disappointed by a purchase. Though it may be cheaper to find books online through discount websites, I love being able to support the local business owner and the friendly employees.

She then condescendingly said, "I take it you're not a reader" to me just because I wasn't looking around at the books. I was offended. I am quite a reader and she treated me like an idiot just because I wanted to idle a bit until the walkway was clear. I actually did consider buying a book but didn't want my money to go to such a rude person so I won't be bringing my business here.
