My therapist was 'London' - she was fantastic and always checked with me to ask if the pressure was too much, too little, or just right. What we got instead was a nightmare. The package included an Aromatherapy Massage, Shellac Nails, Avalon Pedicure, and "The Finale" (a conditioning treatment, shampoo, haircut, and blow-dry style). However, when my wife arrived for her scheduled appointment, she was told she was only scheduled for a haircut. How does a full spa package get reduced to just a haircut? Even worse, the haircut was so poorly done that she had to return a second time to try and fix it -- and her hair was still damaged. She has not received the aromatherapy massage to this day, and no one has followed up to reschedule or offer a solution. The nails were also a disaster. She said they looked unprofessional and believes the technicians may not be properly trained. When she tried to speak to a manager about all of this, she was told there was no manager available. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever had. For a place that advertises itself as a luxury spa, this was anything but. Unprofessional, disorganized, and a complete letdown. I absolutely do not recommend Avalon Spa and Salon.
