Everyone keeps saying how beautiful my lashes are. I absolutely love this place and I felt as thought I were treated like a princess!

I've had my lashes done a few times before and they have always turned out beautifully, with no problems. I made an appointment to have eyelash extensions with Amazing Lash yesterday, thinking that I would get the same results. About 3 hours later my eyes started to itch and burn. Thinking that it was a mild reaction I used eye drops and eye wash hoping that it would go away. It didn't. I woke up with red, crusted, irritated eyes. I called the studio, and the receptionist suggested that I should have the lashes removed. I don't live in McAllen, so I wouldn't be able to return to them to have them removed. I can never get back the 2 hours I wasted in there for this appointment, but at least I think that I should have been reimbursed for the service. The receptionist said that there is nothing that she could do. I've never had this happen to me before so I'm not sure if this technician was not competent, or if it was due to unsanitary practices. I had the opportunity to try out this new lash studio! I was a little apprehensive to try a new studio that opened up just a few months ago, but I'm happy that I did! I've had eyelash extensions for three years, but six months ago, I decided to take a break from them. The initial appointment for a full set of extensions takes two hours, so keep that in mind! After that you have to come back every few weeks to fill in any lashes that have fallen off, but that appointment is only an hour! I received their promotional special for a full set for $60, which is such a steal. Most places charge usually at least $100! After my initial appointment, my lashes looked so pretty! I went for a more natural look, and think they are perfect! The only thing that is a little unfortunate is they try to get you to sign up for their membership, where a regular lash fill costs about $60, and if you aren't a member, it's $80! I haven't signed up for the membership fee just yet, but it's the way to go if you decide to yourself. Overall, professional and clean facility, and great service! read more

I've been going to Amazing lashes for years now. So I was so happy to find out they opened a location in McAllen!! I always had to wait to do a refill in Houston. I tried 3D lashes for the first time and I absolutely LOVE them. They will be my go-to lashes from here on out. I did them in the style "gorgeous". Christine did such an amazing job! LOVE THEM. I was desperate to get my lashes done because of an upcoming event, every lash tech I knew was unavailable and I didn't have time to wait 2+ weeks for a lash appointment. I called this place and they had availability for the day of. I made the appointment, the girls were very nice and very welcoming I loved the vibe and cleanliness of the place. I got my lashes done with a lash tech there & she was great! I absolutely loved her, very friendly, outgoing, funny. The only problem I had was that the lashes weren't exactly what I asked for. I guess it's because of the type of lashes she used, the simple and soft looking kind. I asked for something that required thicker and longer looking lashes. No big deal, my lashes lasted a decade and I didn't have a single problem there. I recommend this place if you like simple and soft looking lashes, however if you like long, thick & glamorous lashes...this is not your go-to. read more

I got my lashes done on Friday. I got the longest 12' glamours set, all my lashes fell out by Sunday. I followed their directions very carefully, this is unbelievable. No one should pay for this service. On the day of my appointment they really pushed a membership on me, thankfully I declined. Now, the store manager is trying to reach out to me through multiple calls/texts/voicemails while I'm on vacation. This is extremely unprofessional. I've never been harassed so much. Seriously wish I had never gone to this place. I won't ever go back to another amazing lash studio. I will also be blogging about this experience so others won't be mislead. read more

I got my lashes done 11-20 Tuesday. By the 22nd lashes were falling off already. Half of my lashes are gone! I called and requested if they can refill and they said I would have to pay $40 ridiculous! I paid $90 when I went. I've gotten lash extensions before in another place and this has never happened to me they usually last 2-3 weeks. I will never go back to amazing lash studio. read more

The moment you walk in this salon they push products and memberships on you. They run behind regularly. You can sit 15-20 min for your appointment. The quality of work is decent but it changes by stylist. They should be using the same length of lash each time. That doesn't happen. They also will UP Charge you at any point they can. Watch the prices!! Search for another salon. read more

I love my lashes!! I was kind of hesitant to get extensions do to mixed reviews. But I took advantage of their summer special and I wanted to look fabulous during and after having my baby. The application took about 2 hours and 10mins. I was very uncomfortable due to being super pregnant, but it was worth it. Yessenia was my lash specialist and I told her I wanted natural lashes that isn't too long. She recommended size 8 on the inner corners and a 10 through out. It turned out to be the perfect length! I didn't have any reaction to the glue or the application process. My eyes were a little red, but that's expected. It's been almost a week now and a few had fallen off and my lashes still looks good. I signed up for their monthly membership and can't wait to get a refill! read more

Prices and membership are ridiculous. What I pay close to $90 for the refill 6D lashes with membership is more than what I pay for an independent lash consultant ($60). First and last time doing my lashes here. Lashes fell off after 3rd day but I went with my lash consultant and she was able to fix them beautifully. I would recommend others to look for another place to do the lashes. The staff will try to sell you their membership but in my opinion, it's not worth it considering many other places valley wide. read more

After my first full set, I had to fly to Dallas for a funeral. Within 24 hours, my eyes were itching, burning and red--then crusty. I was at the opthamologist within the first 48 hours with an infection from this place. However, I was so determined to keep the lashes, I kept going back. I had signed up for the membership. In 9 months, I have gone through 5 stylists because they cannot maintain their technicians. I have paid to "upgrade" to Masters (3 different ones), yet most do no more than a regular tech, and my lashes started falling out sooner and sooner to the point that after a week, I look like a crazy trailer-park woman with a few fake lashes only in the middle. Today was the final straw, after calling (for the first time in 9 months) to re-schedule, they have the gall to tell me that they will charge me $30 to re-schedule, despite giving them 6 hours notice. Instead, I gave them notice that I will be cancelling my membership. read more
