The space itself is small and cozy, with just a handful of tables and a private room, which gives it that intimate, tucked‑away feel. I'd 100% go back. They offer two specialty cocktails and a wine list, and while the cocktail selection is limited, the wines are unique and fantastic -- definitely worth exploring. The food was outstanding across the board. The monkfish scampi isn't what you might picture, but it's fantastic -- super crispy and full of flavor. And you have to get the bread: tomato focaccia or brown bread, then topped with the fennel, thyme, and maple butter were all unforgettable. The bavette steak was delicious, and the mashed potatoes were truly out of this world. The sea trout was incredibly fresh; just a heads‑up that the gremolata is spread over the whole dish, so it ends up almost poached in olive oil -- worth noting for anyone sensitive to that, but the flavor itself was excellent. Definitely end the night with the affogato and the shortbread cookies (chef's kiss). Who doesn't like to dunk their dessert? Highly recommend, would absolutely come back.

It reminds me of a country home by the water. The service was friendly and young. I got the plum salad, fallow deer, and roasted peach/caramel ice cream. The salad was spectacularly tasteful and fresh. I felt like the deer was a little too salty for my taste, but presentation was good. I was disappointed by the dessert. My ice cream was partially melted and the peaches were cold. I would give the environment/ambiance 5/5, service 5/5 and food 3.5/5. Overall 4/5.

Hidden gem in Galway, from interior design to food on the plates, that place knows what they are…read moredoing. And why is it not busy as crazy? I don't know!!! They make their own bread, I swear you just carbload when you start tasting it. It's so delicious. With our soup we got carrot bread and poppyseed bread, both unique and perfectly fresh and crunchy. The soups are delish, one soup of the day - no fuzz around them, just vegetable but holy shot, so yummy. The one I had was spicy and very peppery, great taste. For mains on the lunch menu (very seasonal) they only offer a few choices, speciality is fish in that restaurant so I suggest trying it too. I had smoked and fresh salmon pasta with a creamy sauce. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the salmon was too,. Couldn't leave anything behind on the plate even though I stuffed myself already with the bread... No space for desert but what we had where matcha lattes - you can choose between vanilla and coconut. Healthy and yummy at the same time. Great restaurant all together, must try for everyone when you are in town.

Crab cannelloni and monkfish entree were excellent. My wife had mushroom risotto which was also excellent. A hidden undiscovered gem of a restaurant.
