The last few months have been the best this building has ever been run. As per usual, the office, maintenance, and cleaning staff is great. Generally speaking, the building is kept clean and in good condition. Many of my concerns over the past have stemmed from building security, but we recently got a new security team, and the broken garage door that seemed to never get fixed is finally fixed. Truly a great turnaround, and I'm grateful that my voice was heard and concerns were addressed professionally.

That was a plus since we did laundry weekly. We loved how clean the apartment building was both inside and outside. If announcements were made regarding construction or rules, it was communicated to us well via posts around the building and email. If you are looking for an apartment near the freeway, grocery stores, and is quiet, then this is the place for you. I read the information and searched for reviews online and found that it was in a great neighborhood. I was already convinced that the apartment had been rented, but I decided to call anyways. To my delight, Vanessa (the Building manager) told me that the one bedroom was available and that I could see it the same day. As soon, I walked inside the building I knew that I had made the right choice. Vanessa is smart, kind and very accommodating. Customer service 5 stars!! During my application process she went out of her way to meet me on her day off and get all my documentation approved. I had a small issue with my documents but she was able to get me approved! I love how CLEAN the building is! Vanessa has OCD so believe me, I am so thankful for that. It's quiet, clean, affordable, in a great neighborhood. Unfortunately, the place does get filled up fast. A few hours, after I put my deposit down someone else had taken the next available apartment.

I have to give a special shout-out to the maintenance team, Arnold, Chris, and Gigi. They have been amazing, especially considering the demand and workload they handle on a weekly basis. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and hard work do not go unnoticed!!! I also want to recognize the office staff. Keith, who assisted with our move-in in 2025, was absolutely AMAAZING. He made sure issues with our apartment, such as the noisy bathroom fan and the dirty and broken washer/dryer, were addressed promptly. He consistently went above and beyond when it came to customer service. Since our apartment is located near the trash chute, we dealt (and are still dealing with) a significant fly issue, and he ensured that pest control treatments were scheduled regularly to help manage the problem. There was a point in time, even when some of our packages were stolen, and there ultimately wasn't a resolution, Keith made sure reports were filed on our behalf and truly made us feel like our concerns were his concerns. We definitely miss Keith, and he has set the gold standard by which we measure both previous and current staff. Currently, we haven't had any issues with the office staff, and everyone has been pleasant to work with. Rules are definitely enforced, and they do seem to listen to the complaints or issues that my wife or I have brought up. That said, I also don't know if they share the same willingness to go above and beyond to ensure exceptional service. I understand that, at the end of the day, it's a job, but it's also a service-oriented role, and passion for helping people is part of what makes a great experience. This isn't meant to call anyone out; it's simply an honest observation. Still great service, just not exceptional, and that is alright, waayyy better than other previous leasing offices. Overall, we really enjoy living at IMT 6500. Once again, the maintenance crew deserves an A++. They do an incredible amount of work, and they're often the unsung heroes of the IMT community. Without their diligence and commitment, our overall experience here would have been very different. My wife and I would rate our experience a 4.5 out of 5. While I can't honestly give it a perfect 5, because there is still room for improvement, it has been a genuinely pleasant experience, and we've enjoyed calling IMT 6500 home.

She really has always been so kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful whenever we've needed anything and she truly takes the time to listen, answer questions, and make you feel like you matter. As a mom to a daughter with special needs, life can definitely be a little unpredictable, and having someone who treats us with patience, understanding, and kindness means more than I can put into words. Kristina has always been welcoming and great, and those little acts of kindness truly make a difference. :) I will also add that the amenities are wonderful as well, especially the cozy fire pit and entertainment area, and my daughter absolutely loves the Giant Jenga in the courtyard lol. Those little memories that we've been able to create here have brought a lot of joy to my daughter and I'm so grateful for it. The calm environment is also a huge bonus because it's so zen here and just really nice. But what truly stands out is the kindness we've also been shown along the way, and Kristina is definitely a big part of that. Alright, I'm going to give one of the most honest reviews I've ever written…read more I've lived here for the past year, and overall, it has been the best apartment living experience I've had. The apartment has in-unit washer and dryer, central AC, good security, responsive maintenance, and all the amenities I was looking for. If you're searching for a quality apartment, I would absolutely recommend this place. In fact, I would have renewed my lease if I wasn't relocating for work. No apartment complex is perfect, so I'll mention a few areas that could be improved. None of these issues were deal-breakers for me, and they never significantly impacted my quality of life, but they are the reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. First, the back elevator that's primarily used for moving can be extremely slow and occasionally unreliable. When I first moved in, the elevator was having issues and was moving so slowly that my movers ended up charging me for additional time. Throughout the year, it also seemed to go down for maintenance every few months. Second, the AC setup in my bedroom wasn't ideal. I have the bedroom with the attached bathroom, and the air vent was positioned in a way that directed airflow more toward the bathroom than the bedroom itself. Since the main AC unit is located on the opposite side of the apartment, it was difficult to feel strong airflow in my room during hotter months. Maintenance was responsive and provided a vent cover that redirected the airflow, which helped significantly. I also want to give credit where it's due: the maintenance team here is excellent. Anytime I submitted a request, they were quick, professional, and helpful. As for pests, which can be a concern in Los Angeles apartments, I never experienced any roach problems during my entire stay. i didn't have some ants in january however they were able to stop them from coming. My biggest concern was the parking garage. While the property is generally very secure and has security on-site, the garage gate was frequently left open for extended periods while repairs were being completed. I never personally heard of any vehicle break-ins, but having the garage wide open for days at a time was concerning. Package security was another area that could be improved. I had one package delivered to the wrong location and another stolen from the mailroom. That said, whenever I used the Parcel Pending lockers, I never had any issues, and I would highly recommend using that service. Overall, my experience here was excellent. The staff, especially Brenda and Isabella, were phenomenal throughout my entire lease and always went above and beyond when I needed assistance. I even referred a friend to move here, and they've had a great experience as well. The only reason I'm giving this property 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 is because of the recurring garage gate issues, occasional elevator problems, and package theft concerns. Aside from those issues, living here was genuinely a great experience, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment in the area.
