This Old Spaghetti Factory in Kelowna was packed when we had dinner here on a Tuesday night. Like every table was filled. I'm not sure if that's the norm in Canada or maybe in North America, but in Hawaii, OSF isn't a popular restaurant at all. We came in with a large group and Ang helped us. She was so nice. I can't believe she was able to keep all of my family happy (there were 21 of us) and keep a smile on her face. Amazing. She's the best server I've had in awhile. She made sure everyone got the correct orders, refilled our bread and water. She even was patient enough to give us separate checks. I ordered the chicken penne with spaghetti noodles instead of penne noodles. It was ok. I think I'd stick to spaghetti with meat sauce next time. The French onion soup was a $3 up charge and a little on the salty side. I think the spumoni ice cream at the end is the highlight of the meal. If you like cheap drinks and lots of carbs, this is your place. For me it's just kind of ok. The service was excellent though!! read more

Went to the old spaghetti factory as a family of 4 for lunch. Service was pretty slow and the food was mediocre. My lasagna was supposed to have layers of cheese and there were none, it was just gluey consistency noodles and tomato sauce. Very bland and disappointing. The ambiance is always nice. I don't think I will return anytime soon. read more

Great service. Fun atmosphere. Clean. We had the lasagna and chicken Alfredo ravioli. Both were good dinners. Will be back.

Dined in for dinner on June 26 as it was close to our hotel. It was my first time to an Old Spaghetti Factory, but my friend has been a couple times and said it's always a great value. Most of their meals are in the $15-20 range and include sourdough bread, minestrone soup OR salad, entree, and ice cream. Not bad. We dined in on a Friday night and the whole restaurant was pretty full (well "full" given that they blocked off every other table for social distancing purposes). We had to wait maybe 10 minutes for a table since we walked in and didn't have a reservation. I didn't realize but they have an extensive cocktail menu here, all for pretty affordable prices. Just don't expect to have much alcohol in your drink. I thought of my bellini as juice (it was super tasty) and that was about right. Same for my friend's long island. I appreciated their flexibility with the food orders. I wanted the seafood linguine marinara ($17.25), but with the meat sauce instead, and they were able to accommodate that. My friend ordered the spaghetti with Beyond Meat meatballs, but unfortunately they had just run out of the meatballs. They accommodated his request to make a custom pesto linguine ($14.95) with vegetables instead, which I thought was nice. The minestrone soup was pretty good. My seafood linguine was solid as well. Nothing extraordinary, but it was exactly what I expected. I feel like you can't go wrong with a spaghetti dish here. For ice cream, you can either choose a scoop of vanilla or chocolate / vanilla / pistachio ice cream swirl. I recommend the vanilla since the pistachio wasn't that good. All in all, not bad for a sub $20 meal! read more

Not bad, but lacking a few nice touches we have come to expect from OSFs. For instance, they did not have the creamy pesto salad dressing, iced tea as complimentary and they were missing the tortellini alfredo that's part of the manager's favorite eligible dishes. It was close to our hotel so it was convenient, and it was also open on Boxing Day. All in all, not bad, but not great. The server was fun to talk to and the service was good. read more

Cute place in Kelowna, decorated in a very old-fashioned style. There are clearly labelled vegetarian and vegan options. Vegan options include the spaghetti with marinara sauce, mushroom sauce, or Beyond Meat meatballs. All entrees come with bread and butter, minestrone soup (vegan) or green salad, and ice cream. Portions are large and satisfying, and prices are reasonable. read more

I asked the waiter to recommend a dish, he said the grilled chicken with penne and pesto. A couple of upsells in there but I went with it. It was absolutely disgusting. The only flavor was salt and tonnes of it. I ate about 1/3 and felt sick. Really not a good experience read more

Came here with a group of friends for some birthdays. Pre made a reservation. Was greeted upon arrival. The staff were very friendly. They gave up some time to chat before taking our order. We had four adults and two younger children. The servers were very attentive to the younger children and made them feel like part of the adults. Our appies were delivered in a timely manner as well as the mains. Don't forget to order the Spumoni for dessert... the food here is always good, nothing amazing but homey style pasta. But always friendly service. read more

The service was great. Scott (server) was very polite and had a good sense of humour. Food was very delicious, but the salad was a bit lacking. The value was good. You got bread, pasta dish, soup or salad, ice cream and choice of tea or coffee for a very reasonable price. Thank you staff at Old Spaghetti Factory read more

I rarely eat pasta, but my boyfriend wanted to come here for lunch. The restaurant is very nice. It's carpeted and has beautiful stained glass windows. It felt very cozy. Our waitress was also very upbeat and pleasant. As for the food, I thought it was just okay. Every meal includes sourdough bread, soup or salad and ice cream for dessert. I really like sourdough bread and the loaf we had came with regular and garlic butter. The salad was mostly iceberg lettuce. For the entree, spaghetti and meatballs, I received a bowel filled with copious amounts of pasta and three large meatballs. It was quite bland. I ate the meatballs and only 1/4 of the noodles. Dessert was a cup of ice cream. I don't think the food is spectacular but it's okay. The Spaghetti Factory is still a nice establishment to go to if you're into Italian food. read more

Better than Olive Garden tbh. Service is good and didn't have to wait long for anything. Would go again.

Had a not so great experience with delivery here about a week ago. As soon as the owner became aware of it, he reached out and worked his butt off to make it right. We're all human and mistakes happen, but you can rest assured it'll be addressed here! read more

Wow this place is awesome! My boyfriend and I are vegetarians and typically sensitive to our waitresses attitude towards our extra questions, and the service here was extremely thorough and polite--even stopping to mention a dish that wasnt listed as having meat in it to me that I was considering. Furthermore, we accidently left our left overs here, and came back over 30 minutes later for them--they were gone-- so they offered to cook us up another serving! Thank you awesome Old Fashioned Spagetti Factory! read more

This place is awesome. Unlimited bread! Meals are cheap and include soup or salad, a pasta dish, ice cream and coffee or tea. They are polite, fast, and I never feel rushed. It's a great place for families. read more

Dined in to dinner June 30th, first time here and definitely the last I ordered the Chicken Penne, came with a salad which was nice. When the pasta arrived I was starving, dug right in and let me tell you the sauce was watery, tasted like they ran out of sauce and had to run it under the sink. The noodles were definitely microwaved hot on the outside and ice solid on the inside. After a few bites I know something was off. I got my brother to take a bite and he almost shat his pants. I didn't want to be a Karen so I sucked it up and finished most of my dish one bite at a time, washing it down with my water. Currently at home writing this review and sitting on the toilet shitting my organs. Thank you for your time and beware of the CHICKEN PENNE read more

We were very excited to have found the old spaghetti factory as we have not had an opportunity to eat at this franchise in decades. However the excitement faded almost immediately after walking into the place ... In an empty restaurant the hosted rushed us through seating all the while rambling off specials at top speed while rattling cutlery clumsily and noisily.. The server brought all the wrong drinks to the table along with a loaf of bread so stale you could hammer a nail with it.... Eventually we got our food. We all agreed it would have been more pleasant to have opened some cans of spaghettios, the food was miles away from our fondly remembered past experience of the Vancouver location several years back. read more

Not bad service but drinks and food were no good. Ribs were extremely dry pasta nothing special and salad was poorly made.

A delicious and entertaining meal with family, combined with excellent service from the ever-attentive Scott! Highly recommended for the atmosphere and good value for money. read more

The service was great they were ready to bring you anything fast but the spaghetti was bland and the meatballs tasted like they came out of a can read more

Ok we made a reservation for 20 they didn't inform us that they couldn't seat us together! when only 14 showed up oops sorry. They put some tables together but were not pleased. I immediately tipped $20. We waited a very long time for our drink orders and the bread had to be asked for! When the salad came the dressing was bland and the greens were sour from a bag and brown I kindly asked for mine to be sent back they offered no apology. Some others never ate theirs. If not for the wonderful friends and family at my side for my birthday I'd had an awful time at the old spaghetti factory! Don't recommend! you can do way better!! read more

The wait was kinda long but not too long for the dinner rush on a Friday. The decor was lovely. Our server was just wonderful she was so sweet and despite the fact that it was busy she made sure we were looked after and that we were comfortable. The food was good. The price was reasonable for the large amount of food received. Overall great experience. read more

Love the OSF value and offerings. Was perfect for fueling up before a race the next day. Was happy with my food. What I was not happy with was the 1 hour wait time. Highly recommend making a reservation in advance especially if you're coming in on a Saturday evening of a long weekend :) read more

Excellent family restaurant with great food and unbelievably affordable menu. Most of all our server (Mahtab) made our visit so much more enjoyable either her obvious knowledge and experience. read more

Mediocre Italian at an affordable price. I had the lasagna which was cheesy and bland with a touch of garlic. The highlight was the spinach salad before the meal. The ambience was decent but the clientele was suspect. The "bro" at the table behind us impressed the group of young ladies at his table with his interpretation of last weeks superbowl at a volume we could not ignore. The service was good but it will be some time before we come back. read more

Service was slow and very poor Food was below average and cold when we did recieve it. Took ovwr half hr to just get drinks ordered Were told they ran out of clam sauce for one of our meals and hald hr later they came back to table to tell us they ran out of gluten free pasta for another member of our group All in all it was a 2 and half hr waste of time for us . Only good point of the night was the hostess relazied how shitty od an experience it was and comped our whole meal for the night Kudos to her Will not be back read more

It is always difficult to give a chain restaurant a 5, but this is one of the best OSFs I have gone to. Service was great, food was nice and hot, and you leave feeling full without setting you back too much. No word on the ladies washroom, but the mens washroom was very clean. My party was not there at a super busy time, but it looks like the parking lot also has more than enough space so even at busier times parking should not be a problem. Would go back. read more

Good for a filling and reasonably priced meal. Not much more than that but great for a midweek dinner in the middle of a busy week!
