Bit of a wait at the bar but that's because they are quite busy which is a good thing and well worth the wait. The Manager is very friendly and always helps me decide what to drink and introduced me to wine spritzers which changed my world lol! Seating is cosy yet modern. Food is always absolutely delicious, perfect portions not too big not too small. Great flavours and hot well presented food. Great choice on the menu and priced accordingly. The building is characterful with windy stairs to the toilet which always adds a few points for me when they maintain original features! You can also get takeaway which is amazing, restaurant style food in the comfort of your own home! Couldn't fault this place.

Di Napoli Pizzeria is the only independent pizza restaurant for absolutely miles. It is also the only one with a proper forno a legna (wood fired oven) and it's a beaut too. The pizzaiolo is also from Palermo, so the credentials are definitely there. To put it in context, the nearest authentic Neapolitan pizza joints are as far away as East Finchley and Palmers Green - at least 20 minutes in the car and no option of delivery. If it wasn't for Di Napoli, the pizza selection in the Potters Bar (and the surrounding area) would be limited to the obvious chains serving up cheese topped loaves of bread to varying degrees of quality. Though I have been informed that Su Nuraghe has also started to dabble in pizza delivery, while Osteria Dante also does pizza as part of its menu. So, how do I rate Di Napoli? If I think local, it's by far the best pizza you can buy - by a mile. If you want something other than pizza - which comes in 13-inch or gigantic 16-inch sizes) they also do a range of starters / salads, pasta and desserts. While there are a couple of tables, first and foremost this is a delivery or collection restaurant. That is where Di Napoli is different to both Su Nuraghe and Osteria Dante which are more general Italian restaurants. Yes, there are better Neapolitan pizza restaurants in London but they are a long way away - and fundamentally not local. If I'm critical, the dough isn't as light as the very very best Neapolitan pizzas. In fact, rather than Neapolitan, it's much closer to the type of pizza I regularly get in Sicily - slightly thicker and denser in texture. I'm so grateful that this place exists and in my mind, it is a fantastic and much-needed addition to the restaurant selection in the local area. Pricing is also very reasonable and I know where I will ALWAYS spend my money on pizza when given the option of Di Napoli or the chains. If you are local to this area, you should do the same too.

(It's a 3.5) The staff are always polite and friendly. The food changes and has a good all round selection of Italian food. I think sometimes they over complicate dishes that really don't need it, as they would be delicious without the complication. The pizzas are fine. Nothing wow though. Not had a bad meal here. I support it though as it is not a chain and a local business so I'm all for that!

The owner is from Firenze and the food is pretty traditional Tuscan fare. It is beautifully presented and tastes fantastic, I had the wild boar stew served on polenta with a contorno of spinach and it was fantastic. They have a lovely garden for dining al fresco when the London weather occasionally allows. All in all the atmosphere, the welcome and the service are impeccable, complimentary prosecco on arrival and a glass of limoncello in the garden afterwards were great touches only topped by a proper homemade Tiramisu (not the usual dry, bought in crap you get palmed off with) that was absolutely second to none, I was VERY tempted to order a second helping, it was that good. This is by far the best local restaurant I've been to in Barnet, it deserves to be better known than it is because they actually care about their customers. If you're in the area you should give it a go, you wont regret it.
