The drinks on offer are well priced too, with the option to double up for £1.25 and the always tempting offer of "buy two glasses get the rest of the bottle free". While the pub is a great venue to enjoy a relaxing drink and take in the calm surroundings, the restaurant side of this venue has seen mixed reviews. Boasting a good variety of pub grub favourites, this pub offers a great menu on the surface of things, but in reality, dining here can be a largely hit and miss affair. On some occasions I've left satisfied with a full stomach and a contented smile on my face, an equal number of times I've left a bit angry, still hungry and scraping the taste off my tongue. This is a shame because the prices of meals here are quite good value for money.
