She is wheelchair-bound, so I was extremely pleased by the facilities the Premier Inn offered. I have never seen an accessible bathroom and shower as spacious and well-thought out as the one we had. The staff was uniformly solicitous of our well-being. The front desk staff were very forthcoming with suggestions for transportation, dining locations, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the heat/cool worked perfectly. We had taken the optional full-breakfast addition. Best decision ever! The variety of tasty food of all kinds was amazing. We also used the hotel restaurant for several dinners and were extremely satisfied with the quality. The location of the hotel is ideal, particularly with regard to travel via wheelchair. I have no question that the Premier Inn will be our stay for future trips to London.

If you're use to the Ritz, then stay there. Otherwise, if you prefer character, charm and something with a home-style feel, then the Main House is for you. It's maybe 100 yards from Portobello market. On the corner near the market area is an ATM and bakery/cafe. In fact, there were cafes all over as you'd expect. Just a wonderful place and when we return to London, we will be booking a room there again.

Please consider the care of staff. We feel mistreated. More salad is required for staff at lunchtime. Enough is being made brown rice dish needs to be included every week, rather than just potatoes. It feels a bit like staying in a private English mansion complete with a common living room and sitting room with fireplaces and a liquor cabinet for late night relaxing. The service staff is warm and attentive. Oscar, the hotel restaurant, has a great array of food served all day and a swanky bar, all available by room service too. Located right near Soho, highly recommend the location and the hotel. Distinctly stylish and wonderfully classy and British. Recommend asking for a room floor 2 or higher.
