Needless to say, my children have not been to another center since. I like that they are a part of a church facility and community gives a sense of faith-based care, if one desired such environment for their children. I love that when school is out, they have a summer program and take the children out on field trips, which is excellent for my family, they have gotten to explore Texas so much being new to Texas and all. If you are seeking a safe environment, you can feel comfortable to know that your child will be taken care of while you are away until you return. Your child will have opportunities to explore, try and learn new things often throughout the year and especially in the summer. I truly appreciate Frog Academy and all that they do.But Just like any company or business there may be changes. As long as you are willing to be patient with changes and open to these things, you can rest assure that all will be well with your child as they work diligently to keep things flowing and steady to meet us parent's needs. Up until that point he was cared for by grandpa and we had very very high expectations from a daycare. We've decided to go with Cornerstone for several reasons. No complaints that we were able to find by looking at the TX state background check on the business. We have consulted with other parents and they all love the place. The caretakers have all been there for many years, are very dedicated, very warm and friendly and very good at strictly following parents' direction as well as care for the little ones. The price is competitive for the area. As for the entire facility, it is very clean, well taken care for and the staff is very friendly and eager to help. Our little one has been going here for months now and absolutely loves it. And we, as parents, are at ease knowing that he is in good hands. I highly recommend you give Cornerstone a try.

At least 50% of the staff has been there since we started taking our daughter there, so they know us, her, and our two year old son. I never have any doubts at all as to whether they're keeping the child's well-being the number one priority of their day. I have heard other's (friends and strangers) horror stories of something that happened at the child's daycare, and I have literally NEVER had a concern that wasn't addressed within minutes, NEVER had a doubt whether or not they had a careful compassionate eye on my child all day, and NEVER found any reason to think that there was anything but love for my kids while in Cornerstone's care. We're moving, and it was a hard decision to make for a couple of reasons. One was ABSOLUTELY DEFINITELY the loving, attentive care our kids received at Cornerstone for five years and eight months and whether or not we could find a facility that we could trust with our children's well-being. If you're looking in Wylie, I would look at a few other facilities and then go to Cornerstone to see what the others are missing. As a toddler I know that he is going to get hurt, but the teachers are always able to let me know the how and when and are knowledgeable in their first aid to the point that I don't have any anxiety or fears while he is away from me. He has recently moved into the Toddler Room and it's great having teachers who are willing to help with potty training when I'm ready, transitioning to a sippy cup, and just the other daily things that he is learning. Terry would have an older kid beat up my son and others when she thought they where being bad. She would tell my son he was bad and even put a girls TUTU on him to make the class laugh at him! I am beyond disappointed with the way this daycare treated my son and his mother. From the very…read morebeginning, we were completely transparent that our son has autism. We were repeatedly assured by the director/owners that they had the experience, resources, and tools to work with children like him. Those assurances are the reason we trusted them with our child. Instead of working with us when challenges arose, my son's mother was called twice in one week to pick him up early. The second time she arrived, she was told our son was being expelled because they "couldn't deal with him." She was never given anything in writing, offered a meeting, or given the opportunity to discuss a plan to help him succeed. She even offered to bring in an additional teacher to provide support for our son, but the daycare refused because they did not want an outside teacher in their facility. Rather than work together to find a solution, they chose to remove our son from their program. What is even more disturbing is how the owners treated my son's mother. They got in her face and spoke to her in an aggressive and confrontational manner in front of our son. No parent should be treated that way, especially in front of their child. The interaction was recorded. As parents, we expected compassion, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to the children they care for. Instead, we were left feeling blindsided, disrespected, and heartbroken. If your child has special needs, I strongly encourage you to ask detailed questions about what support they actually provide and how they handle behavioral challenges before trusting them with your child.
