That being said, I don't go to every show but normally pick two or three a year that most interest me - not including smaller productions downstairs at the McManus or one off concerts or events. Admitedly, it may not have the production values of a big Broadway play but more importantly it doesn't have the cost. The seats are comfortable (well, relatively) the lobby and lounges are well decorated and they often off rotating art and/or interactive displays set up. There is a decent selection of beer and wine to be enjoyed at intermission and even cookies and juice for the kids - all at reasonable prices. Ideally situated in the heart of Richmond Row, it's easy to have a nice dinner beforehand or apres show drinks. I'm always amazed when I hear some people say they've never been as it's always been a part of my life and the cultural experience. I mean - yes, sure -- I've seen some plays that I enjoyed less than others but this can be pretty easily avoided with a little careful selection of what shows to see. London is lucky to have regional theatre of such an amazing caliber and I hope it's around for another 100 years!

But the evening was amazing, with a full room of people who appreciate original music. I'm amazed that there are 3 venues in this building operating at the same time. The day we arrived, it was overcast and a bit rainy but we were happy there was a large covered seating area where we could take shelter when it started raining. Most of the seats had a good view of the field. The entry and exit was easy to get to. One point of interest was a huge nest on top of the lights where a bird kept bringing food back and forth to its nest. During the game there was fun activities where kids could run the bases and also some giveaways from a Domino's pizza mascot. It was a fun way to spend the afternoon.

I actually grew up in the area and have spent countless nights watching the London Majors play baseball - which is a lot of fun and surprisingly affordable. They also host free movie nights and other special events from time to time. The field is maintained in pristine condition by the City of London, as a tribute to players past and present; a true community treasure. The park is used constantly and for the past 134 years has been the home of minor, senior and professional baseball and is still home to the London Majors. If you've never been to a game - go. Admission is like seven dollars and you can get a beer for five or six bucks and a hot dog for a few more. My boys and I go to at least a few games each season and I hope to increase that number dramatically this year. A fun and affordable night out for the entire family and just a wonderful setting. They have giant bouncing areas/pillows, a small animal farm for kids to enjoy (emus, goats, pigs, rabbits, birds) along with tons of little rides that kids can enjoy. A couple of really enjoyable slides for the kids and a go kart (pedal bikes really) track. The bathrooms are super clean and way beyond what I expected - automatic sinks, no touch entry and saw that staff was cleaning them regularly. Moreover, staff was on top of cleaning all the rides every few minutes! This was fantastic to see and reassuring. There's a nice little market/giftshop where you can buy fresh pies, jams, etc. Pizza and other basic food also available for the kids if you want to grab a quick lunch for the little ones. All in all, a fantastic activity for the kid and highly recommend it!

There were lots of different local food options at this festival. From your typical festival food (fries, funnel cakes, etc), to Indian, Thai, and even Ethiopian. There was plenty of healthier options if that is more your taste. Keep in mind, the food section was rammed during dinnertime. Lots of lines and people trying to get through. It isn't easy and can be frustrating. There are multiple stages scattered throughout the park which offer a wide variety of music styles all weekend. I got to see a bit of Five Alarm Funk and the Samba Squad, both really great acts. People were dancing and having a great time. I really love the vendors at Sunfest. There are a lot from the Toronto area which adds a bit of variety in comparison to other festivals in Victoria Park. There are still tons of local vendors too which is nice because there are a ton of locally made products available. I don't get out to the markets as much as I should so its nice to see their wares displayed in the park. While this festival is super busy, it brings a welcome, positive buzz to the downtown core. Good vibes all around, I highly recommend!

(Because I was there and saw what transpired, and you should remove your review because your statements are purely liablous.) When you play on a table you should know not to have your beverages or food over the cloth, put objects on the table or do anything that may damage the equipment. A staff member approached you (any one should be able to inform you of this basic ettiquette) and politely asked you to keep your drink back from the table and the reason why. You became immediately confrontational - Why? Who are You? Are you "even" staff? They informed you of all this.... You then decided to amp up needlessly situation and you know all the other things that you and your party did and I'm not going to get into that... The staff at Strokers are excellent and everyone is welcome there, and many people from many different nationalities and walks of life play there - what it boils down to is that you had a chip on your shoulder and instead of just accepting the staffs request you decided to take offense and then double down on that, saying it was due to race - and that is just disgusting. I've admittedly made indiscretions of my own at times and have been reminded by staff of rules and ettiquette, as have many players - all you had to do was be polite and accepting instead of taking it personal - maybe you should reflect on your own actions of Saturday night - you ruined the night for yourself, your friends and frankly for staff who work very hard for the patrons and deserve better. Strokers is one of the very best halls in all of Ontario and despite your false misleading review will continue to be successful for all the hard work its owner and staff do to maintain an excellent room.
