Advantages, you can design your own sofa on-line and choose colours etc…read more These sofas arrive on a huge shrink wrapped pallet, the frame is just basically pieces of mdf that lock together a bit like a kids play set Everything has to be assembled by yourself, problem with this being that the instructions are poor and difficult to follow. I'm an experienced craftsman and did not find it easy. These sofas are not cheap mainly due to the many good deals at other "proper" furniture companies such as SCS. This has to be one of the most expensive mistakes we have ever made, almost £560 for a pile of MDF, some lumps of foam and some material to cover it all. Any furniture in our house has to be hardwearing and this has failed miserably, after only 6 months nearly all the back cushions have lost their shape and the base cushions are all lumpy. We have now cut our losses and awaiting delivery of a properly manufactured sofa from SCS.

On the day of delivery I enlisted 2 others to be at home to help with lifting nad assembly - that's a lot of people's time for a no-show. I called Nabru three times just before closing and either got no-one avaialable or we'll get back to you (they didn't). I called the next morning and was told it would definitely be with me that morning (which was going to be much more dificult without the extra help, but at least something) At 1 in the afternoon I called again, then again, then again - each time there was no one available (apparently reception is unable to put calls through to anyone else and has no information, but they understand my situation). Every time I was told someone would call me back and that the driving would ring me an hour before delivery. The company never did return my call. Five minutes before delivery a driver rang me, then he rang again when he thought he couldn't come the direction the satnav was correctly indicating. He was bad-tempered, brusque, behaved as though I was personally forcing him into a job he didn't want to do and dumped the pallet on the road (hardly delivered 'to the door', which is through a gate and tiny courtyard.) We then had to set about dismantling the contents in the road and bringing it in piece by piece. A lovely extra touch after spending two days waiting. We haven't put the sofa together yet, but even if it's perfect - never again.

I can really recommend this place if you are in the market for designer furniture. Neil the guy…read morethat owns this place has an excellent eye and finds some really good pieces. He always knows what is new and if you are after an investment piece of designer furniture he will give you really sound advice. It is not cheap, this isn't your Ikea quality stuff but if you have more of a Habitat or Heals budget he will be able to sort you out. They also have some great rugs, leather sofas and fab knick nacks and table wear etc. A good service and the best price for that level of kit - especially if you are after more than one piece.

It's faux leather and has a back made out of netting. It cost me about 20.00 pounds a few months back. It is really comfortable, reclines and everything. I buy my pocket notebooks at Ryman or WH Smith. You can also get pilot and roller ball pens here. Not as important as food, but near enough.

It was a small custom job, to be fair, but I was treated like it was beneath them to bother with it. I've often walked past and thought oh, that's really pretty, but not been tempted back in because I don't want to support businesses who treat their potential customers, no matter the size of the job, so shoddily.

I phoned them 2 days ago and they said it was on it's way, but I won't be holding my breath. Unimpressed. Update: I received my order this morning, exactly 2 weeks after I placed it. Everything packaged well, but one of two sets of coasters in the order looks like it's been sat on a dusty shelf for years. Phoned them straight away, they said they'd give me a refund for them. This location has a HUGE amount of used office furniture. Desk, chairs, tables, etc. Some of it in great condition, some of it not-so-great. It's all cleanly laid out in this warehouse. They also sell new/custom lines as well, which they clearly try to steer you towards. Pet peeve -- LIST THE PRICES on the items. FFS, I do not want to have to ask you how much each thing costs. I won't bother you about a chair that is 4x overpriced, ok lads? Free delivery in/around London - so that's nice. I didn't end up liking anything particularly on this visit, nor did I want to order new/custom (could do that somewhere else) -- the appeal of same or next day delivery was nice but asking about prices and then getting very lackluster information from the attendant kind of put me off. He kind of shoo'ed me away and gave me his card to call him. Like, I'm here right now. SELL ME SOMETHING. Anyway, it's not a bad shout if you need some lightly used office furniture for your office, startup, or even at home depending on your space. Looks like their inventory rotates relatively often so worth a stop in as its very convenient to local transport and right off Old Street.
