We are new to the Treasure Valley, and came to this location today from our home in Star. It seemed well stocked and we did find what we were looking for, a couple of large wicker rectangular containers that we will use to store our patio furniture cushion. There really is no one to consult if you have questions. There was a long line of people waiting at the register, but only two registers open. I don't understand this from a customer satisfaction stand point. Are they understaffed? Our cashier was nice enough, and the older man that I assume was the manager was also nice, though they tried to convince us to get their credit card, given the 5-10% discounts offered with each use. I get that it might work for some people, but we weren't interested, and, to their credit, there was no pressure. My recommendation would be to have more people at the registers when it is busy, and perhaps some people on the floor offering assistance, though I get that this might not be their business model.

Of course items will be marked up relative to what you think they're worth - they have to make money somehow? Also, to be expected to be greeted at the door like some royalty, quite the privileged shopper you are! Anyways, about the shop - it is like a treasure cove of everything you can think of. From antiques to sports to toys to things you can't even think of, they have it all. My wife and I come from the medical field and we were blown away by some of the antique medical equipment and novelties they had. Meanwhile I always collect baseball and trading cards and was pleasantly surprised to hear about their weekly inventory of new sports cards. We were in the store for nearly 2 hours, and wish we could have stayed for the entire afternoon. When we return to Boise one day, we will be stopping by again. We were grateful for the wonderful staff and friendly women at the front register. This is a 5/5 business if I've ever seen one. Ignore the previous reviews, this is a MUST-See shop.

I actually had lunch at a restaurant in the same building a few weeks back. I didn't have time to check it out but I was in Nampa today so I made my way in. Walked into the store and wasn't greeted. I guess talking about not having enough money to pay for your taxes was more important than greeting or acknowledging me. But every other person that came in after me was greeted. I found it to be amusing and annoying at the same time. I did read in a previous review that they were racist here. I don't care if you don't like me cause of my race, just be kind cause I'm a customer in your store. I made my way through the store checking out all the different vendors. As much as I wanted to buy so many stunning pieces, the price point that these folks have given these collectables is out of this world. I can't believe some of the prices on teacups, dolls, vases and pictures. I can see why these rooms are crammed with stuff, no one is buying them. Even with a 20% off sign, it's still not tempting enough to buy anything. I did check out the clearance stuff and it was still ridiculously priced. I don't know why it's called a clearance section when it was all still expensive. I did find a very pretty teapot that wasn't overly priced. I wanted to snag a couple other things but I just couldn't persuade myself enough to spend that kind of money on a teacup or a pink depression glass wine glass. So, I bought my teapot and was content with my purchase. This store and the vendors are really neat. But, the prices here are just obscene and out of this world. It was fun spending part of my afternoon here checking things out but I think I'll stay in my neck of the woods for my vintage goods.

There was a gorgeous full length mirror for sale but it was about 400. I would have gotten it if I actually had room for it and if it was a tad cheaper. 400 is a grip to spend on a mirror you don't have room for. But as pretty as it was, I would have made it work! But I'm sure my husband wouldn't have been impressed with the price point. There's a little bit of everything here. Cloths, candles, decor... It was fun checking everything out! I did see a room that I believe is for crafts or classes that you can take to make stuff. I know making shabby things or refurbishing old furniture takes talent! I think it would be fun to take a class here. Get to explore and use your creative side. This store is really fun! They truly have a little bit of everything. The music is going and is super loud. I appreciate the loud music, keeps you energized and happy while you're shopping. They are on the pricier side so that's something to be aware of. Some of the furniture that's been worked on is worth every penny. It's a lot of time and money to invest in refurbishing old pieces. It was fun checking everything out. Graples (rhymes with staples) is only opened on Thursdays and does get a bit crowded early in the day. They stock new home furnishings and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, our tastes run along the lines of contemporary/modern so there was little that caught our eye. It's a good sized store front but they have a lot crammed onto the sales floor. We made our way through through the store and they have some pretty pieces available. Tea sets, furniture, clothes. Surprisingly, I was quite taken back on some of the pricing her. I found an old birdcage and they wanted almost 200 bucks for it. That is some crazy business. Some salad bowl sets were 10 cause I couldn't imagine pricing anything above that. A tea set for 175 dollars. As full the store was with product, nothing really stuck out to me. To be honest, this place had a thrift store vibe with crazy pricing. Is everything vintage? No. It's a neat store if you're willing to maneuver your way through all the clutter. The pricing is out of this world and you can probably find similar things at the Idaho Youth Ranch for a quarter of the cost.
