It's in the sketchy plaza across Markville and my sis warned me they're a bit aggressive and never on time for appointments. This was proven to be true as I waited 10-15 min- not too bad still. Christy is great, good with English and efficient. She did shave my cuticles by accident as she was shaving down the nail but only once or twice. They have lots of colours to choose from, powder or shellac or gel. Literally every cool nail thing you see on instagram, they have here - cat eye gel, holographic nails, chromes etc. She was super fast but good - gave me acrylics which ended up smooth but not super thick as most acrylics go. I prefer acrylics over gel because it's just stronger.. especially when you're dropping weights at the gym, ja feel? I've broken so many gel nails at the gym and I'm like ... y tho. These acrylics feel strong and durable AND they're affordable af. I paid $50 including tip. She also gives a nice little hand massage at the end, it's wonderful. I want to come back for a pedi! They have lots of staff and they also do walk-ins as well, which is why I think a lot of appointments are delayed.

I saw another Yelper's freehand french manicure / glitter ombre design and requested to have that done on my nails. Rebecca was a pro and took the time to make my nails and the design look perfect. The Shellac polish and design was painted just above my cuticle to maximize longevity of my nails. This is something that is hard to find at most of the nail salons that I have been to. The ladies here are all very skilled and take the time to understand your preferences. My nails ended up turning out great and I received a ton of compliments on them from my friends. The price was extremely reasonable. For such a intricate design (this took over an hour to slowly freehand) it was only $40 before tax and tip. I will definitely be back and recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a great manicure at a great price!

The salon itself is so cute and they have Netflix going and wifi for you if you need. I find my phones reception is a bit spotty so I use their wifi. The only complaint I have is not their fault but parking can be tough when there isn't much but you can park on the street at the houses across too. Their booking system is so quick and easy- always have appointments at any time of any day. I love the flexibility! I usually get the $55 gel overlay. There is a cash discount so bring cash! Also, they have a stamp card now so be sure to start collecting!

Employees tried to be nice but need to work on their skills. I went to pleasant nails because unfortunately my nail tech was a little far and I was going to a last minute dinner so I decided to try something new . This was the longest session I've ever had. Makes me wonder if the nail tech was new because it took so long. I asked for a short set, all the nails were uneven- some thicker than some. After an hr and a half I told them I was in a rush , and they said the nail tech can't do the set properly if she is rushing. After the wax was done my brows were very red and I told both Nancy and the only other female employee there that my eyebrows have been cut /burned and they insisted that it was not burned the feeling will go away after two hrs . But as I said earlier I was in a rush so I I had no time to argue . I paid and left. Three days later I have scabs under both eyebrows . I know the scar under my brow will heal but it looks ugly.My mistake for trying somewhere new , it was a complete waste of money.
