Clean, friendly, welcoming, and even helped me find the business when I was called and lost. I received a full set of get nails by Sky, and she delivered exactly what I wanted. She took her time, was meticulous with her work and evem gave a little hand massage. Thank you Soho and sky for delivering aetvice that customers want and deserve. I used the washroom today before my appointment and it was really dirty - sink area dirty, floor and no paper towels to dry your hands. Last time I was a little upset about how unkept the technicians station was - didn't look like it had been cleaned for weeks. Now I don't work here but it only takes a couple minutes to clean up after each customer and there should be no reason why it's so dirty. I'm only getting a manicure today and glad it's not a pedicure. There are no mats on the floor or slippers/flip flops to change into to walk on after a pedicure and the floor is filthy from wet books and shoes tracking in debris from outside. Shame because the place is great otherwise. The lady that has done my manicures is just fantastic and I've had a pedicure here last week and she did an awesome job. I just can't get past their housekeeping. That and I made the appt on line yesterday- then they called and said - we need to a move your appt to 11:30 - no problem I said - I got here and 11:20 and have been waiting ever since..it's now 12:15. I'd leave if I had another appointment to go to but I don't. Sadly will not be returning here - Good Luck !

For the record, the nail salon I went to "BAR salon and spa" on Bay/Davenport and they were incredible. I paid half the price and the results were a million times better. Would never go back to Aphrodite for nails and would not recommend them.

I felt comfortable enough to book Maki to do my bridal nails close to my wedding without working with her before. I was lucky that she could accommodate me on short notice. Usually, she's booked out in advance and takes new clients rarely. Pre-booking with a deposit is required. So if you can get your nails done with Maki, do it! I gave her a few designs I liked, just a classic simple French manicure with white floral designs. She added some extra detailing and her spin, like pearls to the middle finger, to match my veil. I thought I needed to extend all my nails but I'm glad she gave me advice that I didn't need to as long as the nails are shaped well I can still get the look without discomfort after the event. We only extended one nail that was too short. She's located inside the Vermilion Medical Spa and rents a chair to work from. Green P parking around Elmwood Street and Yonge. Although the best way is to get there by TTC near North York Centre station.

She's really good at shaping the nails to the perfect shape and the nails last so long no breakage. I highly recommend her. located on the 2nd floor. Usually I am the only customer in the store, it feels very private. She is detail oriented and a perfectionist which I love. If you want your nail to look absolutely perfect, she's the one.
