My experience with this company was deeply concerning, specifically with Yuri Picazo, Senior Loan Processor. I voluntarily withdrew my mortgage application due to repeated errors, miscommunication, and unprofessional handling of my file. Despite providing complete documentation, Yuri struggled to properly package my additional income with the applicable contract, insisted on unnecessary redactions, changed loan terms without explanation, and attempted to add over $15,000 in unjustified fees.
After withdrawing my application, Yuri issued correspondence to Rocket Mortgage, falsely stating that my loan was denied because I "refused to provide documents." This is factually incorrect. I requested that the letter be corrected to reflect the truth, but she refused. This inaccurate statement was sent to Rocket Mortgage, which is unacceptable and professionally irresponsible.
To be clear, we went to a direct lender afterwards and we were immediately approved without issue, further confirming the problem was the way Yuri handled the file.
This is NOT a small thing. A person's name, record, credibility, and future lending profile deserve accuracy, and Yuri failed miserably at this. She rarely returned calls, made multiple spelling errors in official communications, and demonstrated a lack of competence throughout the process. I am posting this review to ensure the truth is documented before escalating my complaint to the appropriate oversight agencies.
