The west side of The Morrow abuts the dive karaoke bar The Baronoff and, as such, the noise from April through October renders that side of the building nearly unlivable. I could literally hear the singing--screaming?--in my living room and sometimes my windows and walls would shake. Management knows it's a huge problem and a number of tenants on The Morrow's west side either moved to other units when they became available or, like me, moved out entirely.
The final straw for me, after years of Fair Housing Act violations: my oven and stove broke and it took management 27 days to fix it, in violation of city, county, state, and federal law. I didn't have a working oven or stove throughout the holidays.
Also, just in case you're new to Seattle: that tag line on The Morrow's promotional material stating that the building is "just north of downtown" is demonstrably false. The Morrow is Greenwood, which is over five miles from downtown.
