They are the worst managers ever!!! They make tenants open the door for at least 3 contractors to give estimates. The worst was 15 estimates over a 2 month span because the previous contractor messed up. Then they talk the lowest estimate down. I have never seen contractors put such low priority on doing a good job...they do the quality of work that they are getting paid for. On several occasions contractors did not show, were 5 hours late, and one left his tool box behind (and never came back). I'm happy all the investors like the idea of them saving money on all the repairs...till they see the repairs. It is actually funny how bad the repairs are. read more

Had proof of damages prior to move in of a rental property. They refuse to adhere to the move in inspection stating those damages and are keeping my deposit. I had to open a claim in court just to get what is right done! horrible company! read more

So I wanted to wait at least a full year before I provided my rating for "The Mor Group" as I wasn't sure how their services actually were. So here it goes...... I first met with Cassie and Adi over a year ago (around July 2016) to talk about The Mor Group managing my rental home in "Queensridge". I had met with several other agents and property management companies prior to my meeting with The Mor Group to help finalize my decision. After meeting with the various companies, it was a clear choice to go with The Mor Group as Cassie was determined to gain my business. Her follow up and passion for the business was so impressive and I was able to see how dedicated and professional she would be,with her team, in managing my property. So, now over a year later I write this review and wish I could give them "TEN" stars but unfortunately yelp only allows up to five. The Mor Group is one of the most professional and dedicated property management companies I work with. I can't imagine a better team to handle your real estate needs. I used Cassie and Adi (now The Mor Group) services twice: buying my Las Vegas home in 2005 and selling it in 2021. There were multiple significant complexities surrounding the selling process of my property, which were handled by the Mor Group from beginning to the end in the most professional and timely manner: 1) I do not live in Las Vegas and couldn't physically be there. The entire transaction was done remotely! 2) My tenant (whom I know well) had to be evicted but the tenant kept living in a car on my property driveway for a month after the eviction! Adi handled this peculiar situation extremely well. He didn't escalate this unfortunate situation, he was respectful to the ex-tenant but was able to get his work done and get the house listed timely. 3) The house was so trashed that something you see in a movie or extreme reality TV show. There were multiple large dumpsters with garbage taken out. If you don't believe me, check out The Mor Group social media November 2021 post "Before and After - The biggest flip of 2021?" 4) The Mor Group provided me with great analysis and recommendations on whether to sell as is, remodel it and how extensively, and how to price it, which ended up getting me the most profit. 5) We did significant remodeling - The Mor Group provided contractors and supervised the entire process while I was on a month-long planned vacation that I didn't want to cancel. Luckily I didn't have to, because I knew Adi would handle it better than I ever could, including remodeling design choices :-). Wow, thank you so much, Cassie, Adi and the team! Writing this review on behalf of my elderly parents whom resided at 5534 Super Bowl Dr. Las Vegas, 89110. I'd like to start off by saying that my parents had a wonderful stay here during the three years they resided at this home. Unfortunately towards the time of them needing to vacate, the process didn't go smoothly. We were in contact with Jhared Escobar Realtor & Property Manager and we had an issue with a $75 charge we were being given because apparently we didn't have proper communication with Jhared on the key drop off and the move out inspection. In fact, the Mor Group misunderstood us and told us that because we weren't "ready to vacate" and go through the move out inspection that we were now being charged a fee of $75 because someone wasted their time to go out to the property when they tenants weren't ready. Anyway, we were able to resolve things with Jhared towards the end. We have now received our security deposit back. We are being charged for every little thing you can possibly think of. The Mor Group is charging us $40 to replace 8 non working light bulbs. Right before we left we doubled checked that all light bulbs worked. We loosened some of them because the room was too bright. I don't think they even checked that part? Seems a little unfair to me and it also seems like they just want to take your money. I work for a property management company and I am confident enough to know how the operations work. The Mor Group is impossible to get a hold of over the phone. I had left several voice messages to get a hold of someone and nobody ever called back. If you are renting from any of their properties, be sure to be present during the pre move out inspection to ensure what you will be getting charged for. Apparently they also charge $40 to remove a fly trap from the AC vent. These are things that get done regardless when someone moves out for the next person to rent. Property management companies should always re paint before someone new moves in. To charge the residents for it sounds absurd. read more

My wife and I rented a house managed by the Mor Group for 2.5 years. We were pleased with the service while we were renting. They were nice to communicate with and I loved the fact that I could pay my rent online through an automatic ACH transfer. The only problem we contacted them about, a broken garage door spring, was handled very quickly. After our first year we requested to go month-to-month with our lease and it was an easy change when the property owner was happy to have us stay month-to-month. The reason I only give 3 stars is because of our last interactions with them which left a bad last impression. When we went month-to-month we agreed they could list and start showing our house a month before we moved out. However, they didn't list and start showing our house until a week before we were scheduled to move out. At that point it would have been nice if they could have waited another week since we were in the middle of packing up our house. Worse was the amount they took from our security deposit. We scheduled a walk through for the day we were leaving so the Mor Group could go through the house and check things out. The lady came, took a couple hundred pictures (not like any walk through I had experienced in the past), but in the end told us there were only a couple small things but in general everything looked good. I felt that conclusion was accurate. I knew there were some things: one of the light covers had shattered and I never replaced it, we didn't spackle and paint the nail holes even though the lease said that was our responsibility (do they really want tenants painting 50 spots on the walls?). When I got the security deposit back they had taken $500 off which I felt was excessive particularly when we had been there for the walk through and we weren't told about any specific issues. What is the point of the walk through if not to inform us of the issues? I sent an email to them complaining of what I felt was unfair practices and they were recalcitrant. They said they would send me before an after pictures of what they charged for. They didn't. 4 days later I reminded them of this and they said they would send them to me by the end of the day. They didn't. I did get about 10 of the "after" pictures of the hundreds they took the next day. A couple showed genuine issues, but most I didn't understand why they were included. They never sent me before pictures. I assume they lost them or realized they didn't show chargeable offenses. At the end of the day, I think they overcharged us by about $300. Not that big of a deal when split over a 30 month lease, but frustrating when charged at the end in a shady manner. If I could give advice to myself when I started out renting with them (or someone else renting with them) it would be three-fold. First, contact them with every little thing you can find in the first month you are renting. They are going to charge you for everything little thing they can find when you leave. Second, expect to have more deductions from your security deposit than you have ever experienced in the past. I've rented several houses and apartments in the past 10 years and have never had a security deposit experience like this. Third, when you do the walk through at the end of your lease, demand an itemized list of things they will charge you for. Don't accept "there are a couple of small things". You don't really have any recourse a month after you have moved when you get the list. Get it while you are in the house and can appropriately dispute. read more

Choose another company!!!! The more group was my management company for the last two years. Every time they needed to make any repairs I approved the fee without asking questions. This time i got a message stating "the new tenant is moving in and he is going to send his crew to do a light cleaning to get the place freshened up. it is going to be a $100 i just wanted to let you know. I replied back that a $100 for light cleaning is way too much and advised him that i pay $100 for my 4 bedroom house - i was very upset and told him that i don't approve the $100 fee - he didn't let me speak and he said that this was his decision which made me more upset most of the times the conversation with his wife turned to better resolution this time he advised me that i better find another management company so did his wife. Really - I'm the customer and I make the decision if i want to pay that amount or not - so to all I say stay away from them. read more

These people are crooks! Please, please do not use them to rent a property. During the last month of my lease, they informed me that the owner was selling the house so I would not be able to renew my lease. They then wen't on to tell me that I would need to make myself available so that showings could be done. Being that I would now have to find a new place to live coupled with the fact that I work full time as well as attend UNLV full time, I told them that I didn't think I would have time to accommodate them. Well during that last month the garbage disposal stopped working. I called them to put in a work order and after the work was competed I was surprised to find a charge for the repair in my tenant account. Up until this point, I'd NEVER been charged for a repair. When I called to find out why I was being charged they informed me that it was due to me negligence and that the repair man had found a broken glass cup in the disposal. This is 100% FALSE because I have children and because of that I don't even own any glass cups or plates. I only use plastic to prevent accidents. So fast forward to a month a later, I received my tenant ledger and they claimed there was exactly $1,700 in damage done to the property. Guess how much my deposit was? $1,700. Funny how the alleged damages came to equal exactly what I had paid in deposits. I had worked my rear end off, and except for the carpets needing to be professionally cleaned, I left that place in great shape. I have never not had my security deposits returned to me and I am absolutely stunned. If you are renting, PLEASE steer clear. If you rent with them, you will regret it! read more

I can't speak for the owners but since they are an extension of the employees, I was very dissatisfied with their service, especially Wendy. I had spoken with Wendy prior to my move out and she made very clear that I would not be responsible for certain charges but lo and behold, when I received my tenant ledger, she had assessed me for those very charges that she said I would not be responsible for. I disputed those charges but all Wendy could say was that I was responsible for those charges instead of trying to provide quality customer service and waive several of those charges. Also, she refused to schedule a move out inspection on the day of my lease ended but instead, I was forced to move out several days earlier. All rental properties are the same and the Mor Group is just like the rest--they will nickel and dime you for everything, regardless of whether one leaves the property in pristine condition. read more
