Often overlooked, in favour of the pub down the road, The Moorings has excellent views over The bay( from the roof terrace) and wholesome, hearty, and reasonably priced food, in part, one surmises, under the influence of the new chef. More spacious than The Griffin, and definitely worth investigating if staying in the area, or moored in Dale Roads. read more

Had coffee and brunch here over the bank holiday weekend. Great terrace with fantastic views over the bay. Coffee v good. Tea cake could have been better, bit chewy! Bacon roll looked great. Would come again. read more
