When I asked about ceramic tint, I was told I "didn't need it," but when I asked why, the explanation came across more dismissive than educational. The shop may very well do quality work, and I can't speak to their installations, but customer experience matters too. I call and made a reservation for the next day and I was surprised they can do my car on the next day which is kinda weird. I showed up and it says it opens at 9am but they came in at 9:30am which is really weird to open 30 minutes late when it says on their business hours they opened at 9:00 am. The owner showed me different kinds of tints that they have carbon and ceramic and they didn't offered the standard which is they tryna ripped you off to begin with. Then when I told him I got the groupon deal everything change. He's telling me if I get the ceramic coating I need to pay $300 more on top of the groupon deal that I got for $183. There's some pictures as well on the prices so basically he's going to charge me more which is ridiculous. I asked him If I did the groupon deal he said he will give it to me the lowest quality which is really thin material no warranty so any bubbles or peeling on what they install they cannot help you. You cannot pick the shade on the tin for the standard tint so basically they will give you a really bad quality Gladly I made another reservation on Bumper doc at santee I called them about the quality of the material that i purchase from groupon that I can pick my shade of tint and they offered a lifetime warranty on it which is pretty good. His reasoning was that it was his property, and he went as far as questioning my condition and saying he did not believe I actually needed handicap parking. A disability does not have to be visible for it to be real. A business owner should not take it upon himself to decide whether someone's medical condition is legitimate or whether they deserve to use accessible parking. Being confronted, questioned, and told to leave a handicap parking space was humiliating and completely unacceptable. People with disabilities deserve dignity and respect--not judgment because they don't "look disabled enough" to someone else. This experience showed me a complete lack of compassion and respect for people who need accessible accommodations. Based on how I was treated, I cannot recommend this business. After one day, the small round crack became more pronounced that I didn't think it would get any bigger, but after only three days it tripled in size and by the fourth day it had a long 5 inch line spreading out of a center. Yelp sent the request out to several local companies, and these guys were one of the businesses that responded. They ended up having the best price of the quotes I received, but more importantly, they were responsive and easy to work with from the very beginning. They already had great reviews and were close to where I work, so everything lined up. My schedule changed and I wasn't able to get the windshield done when I originally planned. About a week later, I messaged them basically asking if they could take me on 20 minutes' notice. No problem. They told me to come over, and as soon as I arrived they pulled the truck in and started working. Before installing the windshield, they showed me the glass they had and compared it to what was already on my truck. They actually pointed out the manufacturer marking on my old windshield and explained the differences between the options, including some of the tint and markings around the glass. No upsell or pressure, just making sure I got what I wanted. They told me it would take about an hour, so I brought my laptop and figured I'd catch up on emails while I waited. I don't think it even took 30 minutes. I barely got through what I planned to do before they were finished. Great price, great communication, extremely accommodating, and excellent service from beginning to end. Five stars across the board!
