Great little spot. They have a great staff, everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. We were immediately welcomed upon waking in. She gave us the run down of everything with great recommendations. We ordered the McKernan, and bacon cheddar dogs, and onion rings. They also have vegan options. All were great choices!!! The soda fountain was really good Stubborn soda. Custom flavors, recommend Black cherry, Agave Vanilla cream soda, or mix black cherry with draft cola (ala cherry coke). The food was outstanding, very delicious. The hotdog buns were very fresh, toppings were great on each entree. While we were enjoying our meal we were offered refills multiple times. This also marks the first time in 9 years I have seen my wife eat a hot dog(and the whole thing). Will defiantly be going back. Hi! It was my friend's and I first time at The Missing Link, one of our friends recommended it! The cashier was so sweet. I ended up getting the grilled chicken sandwich and fries. $15 is not bad for all of the food you get.. and such in a timely manner. Quick service, and multiple workers came up to us asking if we needed or wanted anything. Food was phenomenal. FINALLY dropped into the Missing Link and was very pleased. The decor is awesome, think big loft with lots of metal and wood with tall ceilings. The lighting was dim which sets a relaxed mood. They had a separate area to order food and the bar. The food was really good. Burgers, dogs and salad options too. The food was all reasonable prices, sides sold separately. I got the onion rings which came topped with spicy mustard, cheese and onions. The serving size was impressive and they were delicious. We also got the Cobb salad which was pretty standard. The dogs we ordered were the Gordon McKernan and the Drunk and Corrupt. They came served on toasted buns and of the two, I liked the Gordon best, the jalapeños and avo poblano dressing were delicious with just the right amount of spice. The D&C was good too, the sauerkraut was a little sweeter than I prefer. The service was awesome. Smiles all around, they made great reccos and we were checked up on regularly. read more

Hubs and I met here for lunch today, it's been a couple of years since we ate here and we had almost forgotten about it. I got a burger with bacon and he ordered the Philly, and we shared an order of bacon cheddar fries. The food was amazing and we absolutely loved it. I would've given a five star review if it wasn't for the girl mopping all around our table right after our food arrived...the smell of cleaner (PineSol) inundated our nostrils and it made our food far less enjoyable. I realize they were closing in 30 more minutes but that's a huge turnoff and made us feel like we were expected to hurry and get out. (Not to mention the very wet, slippery concrete floor...lawsuit waiting to happen!) Spending $50 on lunch is bad enough, at least let us enjoy our food! We'll probably give them another chance, hopefully there'll be no more mopping floors while customers are eating. read more

Found a gourmet hotdog spot on Yelp so we had to try it. We're in town from Dallas on a work trip. The atmosphere is pretty cool, def a hipster retro type of vibe. We went around lunch time and they weren't very busy. The dogs are on Hawaiian bread which is thee best. Very solid meal . The Chicago dog was huge. An anaconda would have trouble unhinging its jaw to consume. Four sport peppers half a tomato, dill pickle and other toppings covering a great hot dog. They can be a little hard to get a hold of, but when you do the host is a very pleasant guy. If I worked here I don't think I'd ever get sick of the smell of roasting pork that wafts all over. I love coming here for lunch. The staff is always so polite, friendly, and courteous. I have always had my food come out quick, hot, and delicious. I even hear other people say, "that was fast!" It's great that on the rare occasion I leave work for lunch, I have been able to make it back within my lunch hour. The environment is comfortable, cool, and a little dim. It's a nice contrast to the blistering heat outside. I also love a place that is serving up something different from the run of the mill menus the general area has. You are getting unique sausages or hot dogs, that are a good size. I never leave hungry. Some of my favorites are the Cajun Dog which is an alligator and pork sausage dog and the Bacon Cheddar which is a wagyu-beef jalapeno sausage dog. My only drawback is the old school soda choices, the diet is usually out so I just get unsweetened tea I have to say how much I like this place, despite me not wanting to wait in line behind all the people who might come and try it! This appears to be shared with a few medical offices, but it's easy enough to find. Staff are super friendly and very happy to upsell. Order food on one side, grab drinks on the other. You need a separate tab for each. They'll get you a number and you can sit yourself anywhere you'd like. Plenty of room here, and they do have some board games to pass the time. The decor is very steampunk. The food was average. I wasn't exactly sure what made the cajun cajun. It was sweeter than expected. The garlic rosemary fries came highly recommended and did have some good seasoning, but just not sure it was worth the higher price tag. The bread pudding was indeed excellent however. Super rich, and very well cooked. I really dug the ice cream on top. Drinks are standard but have some above average prices for what is largely a hot dog place. read more

While the food is very good, almost sinful in its richness and no doubt calories, it was the uniqueness of the craft sodas that drew me back in last week. imagine my disappointment to see the craft sodas were replaced with the ubiquitous Coke fountain. Super impressed with the enviornment of this place! Great location downtown across from the courthouse. The food is generally on the more expensive side for hot-dogs, but they are gourmet hot-dogs and part of that cost is likely the upscale environment. I was intrigued walking up to the joint. The steampunk vibe really spoke to the artist in me. The entrance makes ya go through a lobby and then the main door is just cool. I chose to sit at the bar because I was by myself. I was joined by a couple who visit was their first. And they were replaced by a couple who's visit was their first. My husband and I loved this place on our first visit. He ordered the Carb Your Enthusiasm dog and I ordered the Chicago dog. We also ordered two different fries as well. He got the Bacon Cheddar fries while I chose the Rosemary and Garlic fries. We were both very satisfied with our meals! The hotdogs are not small either. We could have shared an order of fries, but we couldn't agree on just one! This is hands down the best hotdog I've ever had. I just moved back from Germany, the land of the Brit - and Germany has nothing on the missing link! The atmosphere of the building was super steampunk and modern in such an old historic building. The wait staff were super nice and knowledgeable. They acted like they wanted to be there which made me feel completely comfortable. The fountain drinks were not your normal "coke" or "Pepsi" and don't get me started on the cool machine!
