Anytime I am in the Malibu area, I check out the daily schedule at the Mindry. Over the years, I've taken mostly breathwork and soundbath classes, but I'm sure all of the classes are great. The space is carefully curated and dreamy. The studio allows for a transcendent experience full of release and healing. Thank you to the team here! read more

Love that every experience is a unique one with The Mindry. Each individual sound bath has been different in happenings but equally enjoyable, and of course completely relaxing. I am thrilled that they offer the outdoor experiences and thankfully the weather was wonderfully cooperative. Highly recommend in every way!! read more

The Mindry - Meditation Centers Near Me - Malibu, California

I have been coming to The Mindry for over three years and I recommend it highly. The Mindry and its wonderful instructors have been an integral part of my healing journey and I can't thank them for that enough. I have done private sessions with several instructors and they are all fantastic at what they do. Private hypnotherapy sessions with Michelle have been immeasurably healing, transformative, and life-changing for me. Chrissy and Michelle are both amazing reiki master practitioners. Rose Mary Riggs is a wonderful yoga instructor and equine assisted therapist. Tamara is a fantastic acupuncturist. I love that The Mindry hosts a wide variety of classes throughout the day; I often attend multiple classes daily. The sound baths are so relaxing - my favorite is the harp soundbath with Zeraphina. I love that The Mindry has an app with a wide variety of meditations and soundbaths that are available to me anytime I need them. Tatum at the front desk is mean, immature, and unprofessional. She is the only negative about The Mindry. read more

Seems like a beautiful space and I was very excited to try it. I signed up for their 2 week $52 unlimited class pass. First sound bath was average. Second time I wanted to try a Yin Yoga class, I ran 3 min late and they said that they can't let me in because members had previously complained about people coming in late. I am all for aligning to certain values but isn't running a meditation studio about teaching to be flexible and adjusting accordingly to the situation? I tried to explain that I just had a baby needed to nurse her, that the light turning left into the shopping area literally takes five minutes to turn green and that parking is not the easiest close by. That I had organized child care specifically to take this class and tried to get some compassion on how challenging it is to even make it to a work out as a mom. I then asked if it would be possible to just get reimbursed as it seems that this studio is not very mom/ family friendly. The manager would only reimburse partially as I had already taken the sound bath. I feel like reimbursing the full amount would have been the least they could have done considering the struggle I went through to go there without being allowed in. They then offered that they would wave the $10 no show fee for not making it to class - this just left me speechless. I was hoping to take their Meditation Teacher Training and to become a member but I guess their policy and very unloving approach turned me away and literally made me so disappointed and sad. I hope you don't need to experience this situation after just giving birth and finally making it out of the house. Also wish they had 6 and 7 AM classes. Hopefully I will somehow make it to a couple more classes and adjust this post if the experience will improve in the next two weeks. I am sure the teachers are lovely but the way its managed seems not compassionate and very money driven. read more

I could never leave magical Malibu for so many reasons but The Mindry is at the top of the list! It's my favorite place ever. It's healing just being greeted warmly by their wonderful staff. And the meditations have been life changing. I have so many favorites but Maha Bodhi, Seth Monk, and Michelle Boback are cannot live withouts. Chrissy who runs the studio makes you feel so happy & special when you arrive and is also incredible as a healer/guide. If you haven't been yet, you are in for a treat! Yoga is also fabulous and so popular with the locals. Endless gratitude we have this to enjoy read more

Luxury oasis, and the heart of Malibu. High quality teachers. Nourishing experiences for the mind-body and soul.

This place is as good as it gets. Sometimes, Malibu can feel disconnected from the "heart" of our lives. We get caught up in appearances, $20 smoothies, and maybe forget how lucky we are to live and work in such a beautiful part of the world. I was having a challenging day last Friday, and walked into the Mindry to get grounded, maybe pickup a protective crystal, and try to recalibrate to a higher frequency before a work meeting. Chrissy and Maya were exceptionally warm, present, and helpful as I asked questions and explored the different tarot decks available at the space. I wish I could have attended the Cacao and Sound Healing ceremony. May we all remember how lucky we are to have places of refuge like this amidst our busy lives! read more

The deep relaxation class was so awesome! I felt so relaxed afterwards. Chrissy was an amazing instructor, I highly recommend it!

What a beautiful space. I took a workshop here with Bryan Kest last weekend. The Mindry is a brand-new meditation studio situated in the Malibu Country Market. The lobby is inviting, filled with sunshine and beautiful scent of incense. The front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. Huge door leads you into the practice space. Beautifully decorated, everything in off-white color. I think the doors are super heavy duty, because we didn't hear any outside noise. If you know anything about meditation, it's the hardest part of yoga. But being in this beautiful space sure does help to relax and quiet down. As I was here for the workshop, I have not taken their regular class, but I did meet the owner and she was so sweet. I would definitely like to come back for more! read more

First of all, this place is amazing and I love the vibe in person and online! They've done a fantastic job with their virtual classes. I am not a huge meditation person but The Mindry has changed my mind about that as I always leave my sessions feeling a sense of calm and peace. Michelle is the best, in my opinion! Love her guided meditations :) read more

Krysta was the receptionist when my friend and I showed up for one of the sound baths and I was admitted to the class because I signed up previously and my friend was put on a waitlist because it was deemed to be a full class. Before the session started there was exactly one spot left and the instructor and Krysta vouched for my friend to join the class but the manager was pretty much refusing to let my friend in and it was very rude on the managers part. Krysta stood up for my friend so she was able to join and she loved it. I would've given 5 stars if the manager wasn't so rude. read more

We used The Mindry for a private group meditation session for our HR team. It was great team bonding and our team loved it! Our instructor, Maha, brought such a warm peaceful presence and inspirational background to the session that really tied well into the theme of our team retreat. It was also so wonderful coordinating with Chrissy, the private events coordinator, as she was very accommodating, communicative, and really made sure everything was exactly how we wanted and tailored everything to meet our needs. Will definitely recommend!! read more

LOVING THE LIVE VIRTUAL CLASSES! My mom brought me to this beautiful meditation studio in Malibu before the recent lockdown. It was there that I took my first class, which was Lucinda's class and was immersed in sound energy healing from her instrumentals and voice. It was amazing and I felt a much needed sense of relaxation. I now continue the practice through their Virtual Classes and still receive the benefits of meditation, breathwork and sound baths. I always look forward to my Rise and Vibe and Stillness meditation with Jenn, Lucinda's Sound Energy Healing, Chanel's meditation and Yoga Nidra with Sarah. I can't tell you how much these classes have helped me feel grounded, especially during this time of uncertainty. I also notice I am finally sleeping better. I definitely recommend this studio and their Zoom Virtual classes! read more
