I don't normally write reviews but Dr. Leda Kaveh has been my bright spot these last four years because she cares for her patients. I have seen therapists before who didn't seem invested in me but from our very first session, Dr. Leda Kaveh made me feel safe and like I could trust her. Scheduling with her is a breeze. One time I was going through several personal events at once and met with Dr. Leda Kaveh via phone almost twice a day for a week. I cannot say enough good things about her and how helpful she has been. One of the top therapists in this area. Cannot recommend her and this practice enough. Also, in response to their audio, technology is not always perfect. However, I know that has never stopped Dr. Kaveh from helping me. We have had sessions where just the video was up so we could see each other but talked through the phone. The flexibility used by this office is amazing.

She was my therapist for almost three years, and I made real progress during the time we worked together. Unfortunately, the way our therapeutic relationship ended left me deeply disappointed. Nina decided that we should discontinue treatment because I would not give her permission to communicate with my psychiatrist. During our final session, I again made it explicitly clear that I did not consent to her contacting my psychiatrist or discussing my treatment with them. About one week after I had been discharged and was no longer Nina's client, I received a call from my psychiatrist's office informing me that Nina had contacted them and wanted to schedule a time to discuss my treatment plan. I immediately told the office that she was no longer my therapist and that I had expressly declined permission for that communication. Thankfully, my psychiatrist's office did not schedule the meeting. This was extremely upsetting to me. Regardless of the reason for wanting to communicate with my psychiatrist, I had explicitly said no. Privacy, boundaries, and informed consent are especially important to me in a therapeutic relationship, and I felt that my clearly stated wishes were not respected. I reported the incident to Washington Psychological Wellness, but I was never informed of an outcome or resolution. I'm not telling anyone that they shouldn't see Nina. In fact, for nearly three years I found her to be a compassionate and effective therapist who helped me make meaningful progress. I simply believe prospective clients should know about my experience and be clear about their own expectations regarding communication with other healthcare providers. I genuinely wish this had never happened, because it changed the way I look back on what had otherwise been a very positive and productive therapeutic relationship.

I have someone on my side now…read more Dr Maroof is amazing, she listens, & doesn't just prescribe the same thing to everyone she actually tries to treat the ROOT CAUSE and choose an appropriate medicine for that particular INDIVIDUAL. She's always been SPOT ON with medications for me, when normally I'm always that non-responsive group or the 1% severe adverse reaction group. I was referred to her by a friend who also recommended her to me, she had made a positive difference in their life as well. When I was at an extraordinary low point in my life she brought me BACK FROM THE BRINK and has continued to change my life in positive ways I could never hope for before. Dr Maroof actually truly LISTENS and we have a MUTUAL TRUST, something that I couldn't find before and it was just beyond awful, tortuous. I am so lucky to have her as my physician. I went through multiple before who caused a lot more harm to me than good, where I even had went inpatient due to treatment medications etc. Never has Dr Maroof caused any harm to me at all. I know she truly CARES and I feel like I finally have someone on my side. That has made all the difference in my health and recovery.
