He helps me to unpack difficult issues I'm facing, and offers me insightful perspectives. He began his career as an attorney, then devoted himself to military service for many years. If I share a story about a challenge I'm facing, I don't have to do a lot of explaining. He gets it. It can be hard to find a therapist who possesses all of those important qualities--intelligence, empathetic support, dedication and strong experience.
