This worked well for our family since some of my siblings are out of town. The only thing we brought with us were flowers for the tables. No clean up! We were able to stream music of our choice on their equipment. The venue was clean and was decorated great! My wife and myself have attended many weddings both in town and out of town at some very special places. I can tell you this space was among the best. As…read morethe forecast grew more and more grim for that day, we had to make the decision to change venues three days before the wedding. I came across The Barn at Cornerstone and contacted Kim immediately. I was stressed and in full panic mode but as soon as I talked to her she began putting me at ease. She explained that although the Barn was not quite completed she would do anything in her power to help make this work. The day I visited her, the barn had no electricity. We talked through it and decided to rent a generator. The barn was still in progress but was already beautiful and rustic and I could envision something truly special there. Kim and her husband, Ray, worked tirelessly and two days later when we arrived to decorate and rehearse, the Barn not only had electricity but beautiful chandeliers were hung. We had a wonderful rehearsal dinner outdoors at the lodge that evening. The setting was gorgeous and the grounds were lovely. Ray continued working on the barn up until the afternoon of the wedding and Kim attended to every detail and also coordinated with my caterer. She took so much work and worry off my hands and allowed me to enjoy every moment. We ended up having the most beautiful, intimate wedding that evening. Rain fell heavy on the roof of the barn as they took their vows. It was absolutely magical. I know that once the barn is complete it will be one of the best venues around. There are beautiful venues everywhere but you will be hard pressed to find people like Kim and Ray. I cannot express my gratitude enough.

The farm is set in the Appalachian mountains near the town of Roan Mountain, TN. The grounds are very well kept and the wedding took place down in the field and the reception took place in the barn area. The property has some really nice views of the mountains in the background. The venue has rustic farm decor and the interior of the barn is complete with white lights and chandeliers, so it's still very classy. There is also an outdoor area where they had cocktail tables set up that had the round bulb, white lights strung up everywhere. The venue had a separate area for the bridal party to get ready and also had a small commercial kitchen for food prep. I don't get the impression that this farm has been offering event services for long, but I'm sure it will become a very popular place to hold weddings, showers, and company events as more people learn about it.

We chose the "Just a Scoop" package, which says month-of coordination but is SO much more. Sierra met with us every three months leading up to the wedding (which was over a year of work since we booked her services 15 months out), kept us on track, let us know about things we didn't know to know about, and provided emotional support the entire way. Throughout our engagement everyone kept asking us if we were stressed out and thanks to Sierra our answer was always no! She kept us smiling and excited through the entire process and helped us spread out the planning work so that we were never overwhelmed. Her capacity to remember a million details at once and stay on top of things is second to none. Not only did Sierra make the planning process a positive experience, she also CRUSHED the day of the wedding!! Sierra helped put the linens on the tables, helped with the floral set up, helped coordinate all our vendors, and even stopped by the hotel our wedding party was getting ready in to pick up anything that needed to be brought to the vendors on the day of. She also is a very talented calligraphist and designer and we hired her services for the seating arrangement signs and dessert displays and they both looked amazing!!! We also booked her polaroid guest book station and not only did she provide and set up everything we needed but she also went around and took photos of our guests, which have given us memories we'll cherish forever! Hiring Sierra is the best choice anyone could make for their wedding experience. Not only would we choose to work with her again and again, but I'm currently full-court-pressing all my engaged friends to get married in Asheville solely to work with Sierra as a wedding planner!
