She was on-site, helping clear dishes and making sure everything went smoothly throughout the entire evening. We typically serve "heavy hor d'oeuvres" in a buffet style, which is what we did for this event. Chef Joey was so easy to work with in setting the menu and was open to suggestions. He and his staff did a phenomenal job on everything from the amazing food to making sure the buffet was nicely arranged and full of food at all times. Let me say again, the food was amazing! The hotel dates back to the 1800s and has a lot of interesting design features. I found my room to be spacious and, thankfully, very quiet too. Bed was comfortable and the hotel had decent amenities. It did seem quite dated (ie 90s era brass, carpet, old phone, etc.) with the interior finish. That's probably the biggest issue here. But, it seemed very clean (perfect health score) and is still nice. The only thing that would improve the hotel is to update the interior finish in the rooms. Otherwise, it's good and you'll be comfortable here. I really liked that they give you a $8 voucher for the nearby coffee shop. That's a nice perk since the coffee is better than what you'd find in a regular hotel. Also, they have 3 free Tesla chargers. That's a big benefit if you have a Tesla and want to charge on the road. Overall: Great hotel with a lot of charm. Worth a stay.
