So they score for having reservations for a large party at the last minute. Had my first London Sunday Roast here which was a nice turkey dinner, very much like Thanksgiving back home. Food and drinks are standard fare here. If you're a foodie the rating lives up to the taste. Service takes a bit. The waitresses were busy with several tables to handle. It was pretty loud and packed which was bad, a sports bar feeling back home. It was big enough to visit with friends which was our goal for the evening. It was fun to be in a place that was around when William Shakespeare roamed the earth. If you're looking for a lively sports bar type place to hang out on Carnaby Street with friends this will do the trick.

When I told him I live near Philadelphia, he told me he's a fan of "It's always sunny in Philadelphia," so bonus points there. The food was ok. My son ordered the fish and chips with mushy peas but was given regular peas. When I mentioned this to the woman who brought the food, she told me they were out of mushy peas, which I wish I had known when we ordered. I ordered the steak sandwich which was pretty bad. The menu advertised it as "served pink" but there was no pink at all. The bread was thick and fluffy with barely anything in it so that many bites were nothing but bread. I opened it up and there were literally only two pieces of steak. Besides the steak sandwich we enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back.

It was served on a layer of green peas and mashed potatoes with a side of delicious onion gravy. The service was great. We got our food quickly and the bartender let us sample a few beers.
