10-10-24: If I could give this pharmacy a zero star rating I would. They have changed ownership,…read moreand I chalked up a lot of the lateness and difficulties we were having getting our one prescription filled and mailed due to the changeover, but it is beyond that. I had trouble getting them to mail the prescription the first time, and they advised me to submit for a refill a week ahead of time in future even though they had said 2 to 3 days the first time. I used their portal on September 30th to submit for a refill to be mailed and received an email confirmation from the system that it had been accepted. Ten days later, no update and no prescription mailed. I call and they tell me they have to make this one which doesn't sound at all like how it was filled at other pharmacies. I believe it came premade in a pump bottle. They said they would receive what they needed tomorrow and then mail it. What the heck? So I call them up again and cancel it. I also calmly tell them that we need to transfer the prescription to a pharmacy that can fill it in a timely manner. It shouldn't take several weeks to ship this. So then the person I assume is the owner calls us and says some absolutely crazy story about my husband being in there the day before and them telling him he had to bring the box into the store so they'd know what to order and he hadn't. What the hell? 1. This prescription was already in their system and had been filled by them previously. 2. My husband, myself, and daughter are all mostly house bound and severely disabled from chronic fatigue long-covid. We have had to self-isolate to avoid viruses which will worsen our already severe conditions for over 4 years now, and we are together 24/7. I even almost died 1 1/2 years into this due to the cardiovascular damage long-covid caused in my left lung. I barely survived an emergency lung lobectomy. When I say we are sick and disabled I mean it!!! So my husband never ever set foot in that pharmacy on any occasion!!! When I confronted him on this, he back pedaled and said we should go to Walmart. We are too darn sick to go anywhere! That was the whole point of having the medication shipped. We are too sick to leave our house and can't risk getting sicker!!!! And your pharmacy made our very difficult life harder for us when it was supposed to help. So I just had a lovely conversation with Amazon Pharmacy and they are working on getting it transferred. Good riddance Bourbontown Pharmacy!!!! And it's because you tried to gaslight me and blame us for your shortcomings on multiple occasions that I used my precious energy to write this review. I was just going to leave it be, but you brought this on yourself! Shame on you for what you did to us!!!!!

She checked around the area and then called the store that was showing it in stock to verify it was all there. She then transferred the Rx to that store over the phone and it was ready for me by the time I got there. I appreciated the effort and speed in which she took care of my situation and did it professionally, never acting as if I was an inconvenience as she also had other customers in line behind me. She was able to take care of them quickly and then resolve my issue as well! Great service! Tysm!!

I've been a Walgreens customer for about 15 years, but after today I'll be moving my prescriptions…read moreelsewhere. I went through the drive-through to pick up a prescription that the Walgreens app and a text message both confirmed as "ready for pickup." There was only one car in front of me, yet I sat for 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. When I was finally greeted, I was told my prescription wasn't ready and that it would take another 30-45 minutes. When I expressed my frustration, the employee rolled her eyes at me. I work in customer service myself, so I understand things happen -- and I even told the employee "I know this isn't your fault." But if Walgreens can't support the drive-through due to staffing, it shouldn't be open. What frustrated me even more was the conflicting information: the app showed my prescription was filled once I left, while I was being told it wasn't even ready. Later I called the store to try to resolve it, waiting on hold for 1 hour and 31 minutes before anyone picked up. Again, I explained I wasn't upset at the employee personally, just at the situation. But instead of empathy or real help, I was met with rudeness and dismissiveness. At one point I was even asked, "Do you want me to fill it or not?" in a tone that made me feel brushed off. All I wanted was help transferring my prescription and to confirm my refill count was correct, since the app showed my prescription was filled today, even though it wasn't. Instead, I was told flat out, "Just call Walmart, they'll do it." Technically Walmart can initiate a transfer, but Walgreens still has to provide the information. Rather than taking ownership or even offering to help, the employee pushed it off on me and made me feel like I was a burden. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect honesty, timely service, and basic respect. Unfortunately, Walgreens failed on all three today. When I called Walmart's pharmacy, a real person answered and resolved my issue in under 5 minutes. After this experience, I'll be moving all of my prescriptions there.
