Absolutely LOVE this barn!!! We have been at Riders Up for nearly 2 years now and my horse is the…read morehealthiest and happiest he has ever been! Don and his staff take impeccable care of the horses. Don loves all the horses like they are his own. I have boarded at a lot of barns over the years and never had one as good as this! Every detail has been thought of down to high-end shavings in the stalls. I highly recommend this barn!

PROS: The farm is very nice. Stalls are nice and spacious. The turnouts are neatly kept except…read morefor a few rocks that protrude up from the ground and safe fencing. Very nice arena. Owners treat horses really good, almost as pets. CONS: Nosey owners - interferes with you and your horse - feels as if they have the right to do what they want to do. Entices horses with treats instead of stern training. Interferes with you and your training if he feels it's crossing the line. He says that he runs a 1 whip barn - any more whip touches than 1 and you could be asked to leave. Keeps shavings very thin in stalls even when we provided the shavings out of pocket. Inconsistent between staff keeping stalls cleaned and often found urine remaining in stalls after our horse was brought in. Doesn't understand anything about the "show" horse industry or what it takes to train a horse for that atmosphere. No barn rules BUT owner makes rules and barn hours day to day based on what he feels like if it's a good day then there are no rules and if it's a bad day then rules are consistently changing. Initially told that we would have free access to the arena to lunge young horse for conditioning and then this was only allowed whenever owner decided based on his schedule and agenda making it difficult to keep horse on consistent exercise schedule. Does not communicate well at all with tenants and chooses to discuss matters in public viewing (raising voice) of other horse owners creating a hostile and volatile environment. Very tacky in our taste. Owner refused to administer antibiotics orally per vet instructions after injury created in poorly maintained round pen. Crosses the line between business and personal views and becomes argumentary if he doesn't agree. Tractor equipment left out in front of stalls creating safety issues while stalls were being cleaned as well as being stored in the same barn with horses. High turnover in staff. We say keep it business and keep it professional. Overall, would have loved to keep our horse there for the care and facility BUT owner was too much to handle. Did not see eye to eye on issues pertaining to OUR horse. Asked for our instructions and then disregarded them. Any questions feel free to call 615.417.9688 or 9689. Kevin & Holly

Dreamy has never been happier and never looked better and I can finally breathe a sigh of relief. He has Cushing's Disease and the reduction in his stress has made a huge difference in his mood and his overall physical health. I love receiving pictures and videos from Christyn and seeing how content Dreamy is in his new home. I have to make it clear that I am no easy customer. I have never been happy with anyone taking care of my horse, but me. I've never felt like anyone could do it as well as I could. But I finally met someone better at caring for Dreamy than me...Christyn at Trinity Sky Farms. I could never move him again after what he has found there in horse heaven! I'm hoping to retire somewhere nearby in a few years. In the meantime, visiting will have to do because this is what he needs and deserves. I like to say "Dreamy is so Zen in Tenn(essee)".

We are located in Southern Middle Tennessee where summers are never too hot and winters are never too cold. Many horses who retire from the show arena have become accustomed to a certain level of care and human interaction. Our goal at Trinity Sky Farms is to provide your horse with that same level of care and personal attention while still allowing them a "green pasture" retirement. We offer a limited number of openings to ensure that every horse receives the highest level of care possible. Horses are groomed and looked over every morning before being turned out. Stalls and waterers are cleaned daily. Every night the horses are brought in to their own fluffy stall with a full hay net, water, and salt block. The horses are then gone over for a second time and their hooves are picked. Medications, supplements, and/or seasonal wear (blankets, fly masks, etc.) can be part of your horses care for no extra charge if provided by owner. The detail that goes into caring for your horse's every need is limitless.
