I had the pleasure of working with Lauren and Melissa to buy my first home recently. This was a very long process, as my home was a new build and would take nine months to complete. They also were going out side of their normal territory to help me find a home in outside of Contra Costa County and never one time did they complain, have any issues and were able to always meet me when needed. While I ran into several issues with lenders and builders, never once did I run into an issue with Lauren or Melissa or her team. It never felt stressed and everything just magically happened as it was supposed to. They helped me look over all documents to make sure they were well ready to sign, since I am a single mother and often work 50-60 hours a week and all that is invaluable to me. I promised Lauren 10 years ago I would buy my first home from her and it is an absolute honor and pleasure to have fulfilled that promise. Highly recommend The McLain DREAM team!! read more

We were originally referred to Homes by Lauren by our loan broker Karen. As first time homebuyers, we did not know what to expect- and everything was very new (and a little scary) to us. Lauren and team went above and beyond to help us navigate the process and this crazy market. We had the pleasure of working with both Lauren and Melissa, and we honestly couldn't have done it without the two of them! They were extremely responsive, knowledgeable, always available when we had questions (which we had a lot!) and were very flexible with scheduling meetings and home tours based on our busy schedules. I always appreciated that they made us feel comfortable, and also got to know us on a personal level as well. They helped us get our dream home, which is everything we wanted and more. I would, without a doubt, recommend The McLane Team to ANY and ALL friends looking to buy or sell. You will be glad you did! read more

Lauren is an amazing person and realtor. I recently went through major life change where I was looking for a new home, I didn't know where or what I could afford; mentally I was a wreck. But, Lauren was a shining beacon that showed compassion, we looked at places all over the Bay, even referred me to a associate in Northern California. Lauren never lost sight of me, even when I wasn't sure myself. Lauren continued to offer her services, she emailed/texted just to keep me aware that she was still looking. When I question arose, I called on Lauren and she answered -- she's been incredibly helpful, and professional throughout. If I had known about her earlier, I would have signed her as my agent when I sold my house (instead of the crazy person my spouse picked). Lauren is top-notch! read more

I'd like to start by stating that Lauren McLane and her team are amazing at what they do! As a first time buyer, I had absolutely no idea what to expect during the process of purchasing a home. After several frustrating & failed attempts with another agent, I was referred to Lauren by a friend. Best switch I've ever made! Not only does Lauren do a phenomenal job at understanding needs & expectations, she also has the knowledge to produce the best outcome. Lauren took us from an offer to escrow in under 24 hours & a full close in 21 days. I highly recommend enlisting the expertise & services of her team! I can't begin to say how much I dreaded the house sale that I was needing to do. I was trying to put it off but it came to the point that it was time. I have had so many bad experiences in the past that I just steeled myself for the nightmare to begin. Wow....what a complete surprise! Lauren and team handled it expertly.....and did all of the things that I was thinking that I had to do. They had everything planned....timing was on point....they made the appts. and secured the experts to do what needed to be done. They did a fabulous job of staging and the turnaround time for me to have my tenants move out....(my son and family who moved on to their own new home) was simply astounding. Two adults...two children and 3 rescue dogs. The place needed to be painted, new carpet and update and paint kitchen cabinets. I can't believe that it was all organized and finished so quickly....all done and sold and closed within one month! I still am having a hard time believing that it went so smoothly....and multiple offers with the advice given and taken by Lauren and team. I wish I would have found her many years ago and avoided so many costly mistakes and headaches. This is the best experience that I have ever had by far with selling a house....and I have had many! Thank you Lauren and team!!! read more

Lauren and her team were absolutely amazing!! They handled everything from start to finish on the sale of our condo! This was a very seamless process because Lauren and her team organized and coordinated everything! Her trusted contractors were extremely professional and got all of our repairs done in a timely manner and coordinated with her for access to the unit to take care of things so we did not have to physically be there for any of it. And the execution was nothing short of flawless! Lauren and her team worked hard and we had an offer within two weeks which beat all records for sales price and timeline on a sale for the building. The marketing and networking that her team does to list and sell a property in a short timeline while getting the right price is nothing short of amazing! We are so incredibly grateful!! Thank you to Lauren and your team!! read more

When looking to interview realtors, Lauren was our first referral and after our first phone call with her, we were set. Lauren is so personable and professional, and helped my fiance and I narrow down what we were truly looking for in our home purchase. She was always communicative, flexible and honest. Her team was amazing from helping us find listings to visit, sealing our deal below asking price, and managing our purchase process for a smooth and successful close. You always hear how stressful the process of buying a home can be, but Lauren's team took any and all stress off our shoulders. Would HIGHLY recommend to any and all buyers, whether first timers like I was or more experienced. read more

Lauren and her team are nothing short of AMAZING!! My wife and I always felt heard and our worries were addressed with such a wild, dynamic market! On top of buying a home we had a wedding to plan! With all the different stresses, Lauren listened to our needs, provided us with multiple listings, accompanied us with our walk throughs, explained in detail the home buying process, and was ALWAYS a call or text away for help. That was HUGE for us since we are first time home buyers. The home buying process ran smoothly and even provided us with off market listings as well! Ended up getting our beautiful home 3 days after our wedding! Lauren and her team are the BEST and couldn't imagine going with someone else. read more

We were referred to Lauren through a family member and just bought our first home: the process could not have went any smoother! During this pandemic we were worried about the whole process especially being first time home buyers, but from the first virtual meeting with Lauren, we knew we were in good hands! We went from introductions to purchasing a home we love in just over a month! She genuinely listened to us explain what we were looking for, answered all of our initial questions and explained the overall process to us in great detail; breaking down real estate lingo that we didn't understand to highlighting the potential risks and the reality of the process. She was literally always there for us answering any questions we had through text, call or email. We were impressed by how quickly she responded at all times, whether for questions or setting up time that worked around our schedules to view homes we were interested in. We loved that with any updates we needed, she was already on top of it. We never felt that we were out of the loop, Lauren made sure we received updates as soon as she received them! Even after we moved in, any questions or concerns we had, Lauren answered promptly. Her and her team are very knowledgable and passionate about what they do. On top of that, they are patient, super professional, VERY responsive, and transparent during all steps! We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a solid realtor, the McLane team is the one you want by your side. read more

Lauren is a consummate professional, dedicated to her craft and to providing an incredibly high standard of service. We have had the pleasure of working with Lauren in selling our first home, purchasing our forever home and, most recently, in purchasing a family vacation home. From past transactions, we knew how easy and approachable Lauren would makes the process for us. The experience of purchasing a new build in a brand new development truly put that to the test and, of course, Lauren performed with flying colors - navigating negotiations with the builder, guiding us through the selections and upgrade process and acting as an intermediary with an unpleasant selling agent. Her endless effort, positivity and vast knowledge of all things real estate kept us sane and allowed us to enjoy what would have otherwise been a challenging process. In true Lauren fashion, she was there with us at every walk-through and site visit, and available all hours of every day. When we finally got our keys, she greeted us with the most beautifully custom-crafted 'New Home' basket and bottle of celebratory champagne! Lauren is a true gem in the industry and has worked hard to develop an equally incredible team - we highly recommend Lauren & The McLane Team. read more

Lauren and her team completely made me rethink my expectations for realtors and professionalism. I like to pride myself as a good judge of character, as well as pretty intuitive. Of all the realtors I have met, I haven't found a realtor previously who I trusted, and who didn't make me feel like I was just a quota or a way to make it onto Million Dollar Listings eventually. From the first meeting my wife and I had with Lauren, I could tell she was different. First of all, she listened and more importantly heard what our wish list was, where our comfort zone was (financially, location, etc). I know this doesn't seem critical but nothing is more crucial than having an agent who knows the area, understands your needs, and is constantly only showing you the homes that would meet your needs and budget. Second, Lauren was always available, accessible, and quick to make sure that we felt that we were her priority. Whether it was text, email, or phone...she was there with suggestions and guidance, along with status updates. I can't say enough that I haven't found this level of communication and attentiveness in any of the other realtors I have worked with in the past. Finally, once we found our home that we knew we wanted, she was incredibly hands on and involved with everything from inspections, walkthroughs, follow-ups, etc. She treated the home as if she was purchasing it and I will say every single one of her vendors she recommended were outstanding as well. We even were able to close earlier than the original close of escrow date! I don't typically leave reviews...but if anyone else out there hasn't found a realtor that makes them feel like family, with the drive and professionalism needed in such a critical transaction...I can't recommend you meet with Lauren enough. Lauren and her team will make you wonder why you wasted your time meeting with anyone else. read more

I don't even know where to begin. All I can say is Lauren and the McLane team came to our rescue when we needed to purchase a new home, and sell another home quickly. When it comes to negotiations and contracts, Lauren is detailed and savvy. She got us a sizable credit on our purchase, and top dollar on the sale of our previous property. She is a tough negotiator who you want on your side of the deal. My wife and I found Lauren at an open house she was hosting in Walnut Creek. She spoke with us and realized the current house wasn't a good fit for us. But within 3 days she showed us several other options in Alamo and Danville área that were off the market with great schools and close to parks and trails. We are in closing and hope to move in soon. When it's time to sell we will be giving her a call. read more

I took a job across the country and needed to sell my house before leaving. Lauren and her team made the whole transaction smooth and seamless. We are repeat clients of Lauren's and continue to recommend her to everyone we can. We can't thank Lauren enough for her help and are very glad her and her team were referred to us. read more

Let me just say that in current times where the market is so competitive and the homes are quickly scooped up, Lauren kept us informed constantly of new houses to go see. Especially during Covid it has been difficult and Lauren's team was always efficient and reliable. One of the things that I loved about Lauren is that she was always completely transparent and honest about the homes we would look at. I never felt like she rushed us or was trying to make a quick sale. Not only was she informed about all the areas we were looking at but being that she is a native of Contra Costa gave her a leg up on being knowledgable and having established relationships with other realtors who were on the side of the sellers. Not only was Lauren and her team amazing throughout every step of the process but it was nice that she had referrals of contractors, appraisers, mortgage officer and everything else we needed. We never had to go researching for anything. Lauren was a not only a wealth of information but very diligent throughout. There was never a lull. Thank you again Lauren for making our dream come true. read more

My wife and I were looking at buying a new home first and selling out current home at the same time. Due to the high stress and concerns of doing 2 transactions simultaneously we wanted to make sure that we had the best representation on both ends. We planned to interview several realtors, but after meeting with Lauren my wife and I were ready to move forward with her, and we could not have made a better decision. Lauren made sure to find us the perfect home at our pace, carefully listening and understanding to what our needs and preferences were. The minute she found the perfect home for us, she was off to the races! Within a week, my current home was set, staged, photographed, on the market and being shown. She set perfect expectations and listed our home correctly the first time. After one weekend of open houses, we had numerous offers all over asking! Lauren reviewed the best offers for us and made sure to add in additional favorable closing terms to us as the seller. The end result was us getting over asking, a ridiculously fast close, house was purchased as-is, and a month of free rent back for us. With my old home closing faster than my new home, that free rent back was critical. Best part of all was Lauren acting like a true Quarterback through our whole process. She made sure everyone was on their game and was able to clarify and assist with items beyond a typical realtor scope. Lauren has the ability to make nightmare situations into outcomes that exceeded our expectations. Thanks Lauren! 5 stars is not enough! read more

Lauren took initiative to contact me after being referred through a facebook group. Lauren was not pushy, she was clear about what she could offer us and did it in a confident way. Lauren guided us through the whole process which was important since we were first time home buyers. She sent us homes per our description (multi-family units) but we ended up changing our minds and went with larger single family homes. We moved very quickly and Lauren matched our pace. Once we found a house we liked, Lauren promptly reached out to the listing agent in order to get an understanding of what the seller wanted. She gave confident recommendations for how to make our bid as competitive as possible. Lauren came up to bat for us! She is a huge reason we were able to close on this house! Thank you Lauren. read more

We hired Lauren Mc Lane knowing she would do a good job for us but her skill set far exceeded our expectations. Now that we are settled into our new home we are even more appreciative we hired a high performing professional to guide us through selling our primary home and purchasing our dream home while navigating through pandemic restrictions. Her accountability and accessibility was far superior to any other professional we have worked with. She had the infastructure to efficiently refer and deliver services at a reasonable price on demand. She stayed focused from start to finish while consistently communicating along the way. I have already recommended Lauren and her team to a friend. They successfully sold their condo as seamlessly as she serviced us. She will continue to stay at the top of my list for all of our real estate needs as well as my first go to for family, friend and client recommendations. read more
