If I could I would give him a 0 and I wish I had all the time to tell you all how terrible it was working with him. My fiance and I were finally able to close out on our home through academy. Today but were ghosted by garret from the beginning of our initial process. He is helpful in the beginning but eventually his true colors come out. He is not prompt, will not get back to you in a timely manner and he never took the time to call my fiance and I back. Its been 4 months. As 1st time home buyers, the process can get very confusing and overwhelming. There are so many terminologies you need to know, tons of reading, and research to do, numbers you need to deal with, & the list goes on..... I remember walking into the Academy Mortgage's office, Garrit was there right away willing to help. We were in a hurry to reserve a certain lot at Atherton Homes because we really wanted that area.
