We parked at the public park garage near the Marriott. You can take the elevators to the main level in the hotel.. walk outside and then across the street to the venue. For 5hrs it only cost us $8! There were vendors scattered from the main room to a side conference area. They even had room set up for a live band and Chinese raffle. This place is huge! There was quite a bit of seating (I expected there to be no seating). They also had some tables set up that you could stand by without sitting. The bathrooms were very clean and modern. Security was present, they kept the even safe & secure. I loved visiting this time of year because of the Christmas lights outside in public square. The venue also had a large woodsy type of lit up tree in the middle. The entire building is mostly glass with tall, very tall ceilings. My only negative is that is got hot in here, fast. There were a lot of bodies but it seemed as maybe the ventilation wasn't able to keep up. Just need better temperature control.

I wanted to visit this venue for the longest time. I finally stopped in for the Cleveland Vintage Market hosted by the Cleveland Vibes. Ambiance: The space is huge - over 11,000 square feet of open space. There are remnants of Tenk Machine & Tool outside - a little mural. There is one ballrooms and separate rooms to the back of the event space. The vibes are industrial sophistication - gorgeous exposed brick walls, wood details, and abundant natural lighting. I can absolutely envision a wedding here with juxtaposition of delicate and rough. I love exposed brick walls, so for me the venue was just perfect. It was also just right for the Cleveland Vintage Market. It fit in plenty of vendors and attendees with still sufficient room to roam. Marigold Catering: There were sandwiches and cinnamon rolls for sale during the event offered by Marigold. I did not try either. I really enjoyed Marigold catered food at other events I've historically attended at other venues around the city. Service: I interacted with the security staff at this venue. They were so friendly and great at directing the foot traffic. Parking: Parking is available at a surface lot next door owned by Marigold. If you're up for a show walk, Nautica Pavilion is also a good parking choice. Ubering to this destination is pretty easy, GPS shows an accurate location. I look forward to visiting Tenk West Bank again! I hope that the venue hosts other events soon so that I can come back!

Now, Harness Collective, a female-owned real estate company, bought the building in 2022. I got to tour the renovated space before they opened back in early 2023. The building's exterior on Detroit Ave. is beautiful with its striking windows and arches. BUSINESSES -- The lower level includes Harness Cycle (indoor cycling/spinning studio) and Patron Saint and Bar (cafe inspired by Italy but not necessarily serving 100% Italian food). The upper level on the 2nd floor includes Soul Yoga (a yoga studio) and The Matriarchy (a female owned event and co-working space that has private offices). Luuma wellness spaces opened in the basement of the Vitrolite in early 2026 for small business to rent (business such as acupuncture, massage, and therapists). EVENTS -- There are always fun events happening. I got to visit the Matriarchy CoWorking space in December 2025 when they offered a free co-working day in collaboration with Anoteka Design business who was the host for the day. I had a lovely time and even saw a friend there who also works remote. I've been to Harness Cycle plenty of times in the Vitrolite building as they were the first tenant back in 2023. I'll definitely be back to the Vitrolite. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 136/250 total reviews in 2026 - 977 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 21 June 2026

HISTORY: Vitrolite building has been part of Hingetown neighborhood since 1926! It used to be a showroom for Vitrolite Glass Company. Today you'll still find a nod to Vitrolite at Patron Saint. The architecture and history of this building are impressive. Currently the Vitrolite serves as a community space for businesses and entrepreneurs since 2023. TENANTS: The Vitrolite is a brain child of Harness Cycle owners. Inside you'll find Harness Cycle (cycling studio), Patron Saint (Italian cafe), Soul Space (gorgeous yoga studio), the Matriarchy (event and co-working space designed for women, Sisu (seasonal Finnish sauna). Exciting developments constantly get added to this space such as upcoming spa portion. Many prominent local business owners plan events here or participate in offerings. It's beautiful to witness! SERVICE: This entire center has consistently amazing customer service. Every business is very community-oriented, owners and employee welcoming and kind. PARKING: Street parking is available in the area, but can get scarce during events (sports or local). Parking lots are available at Church and State, Transformer Station. I love to attend events and frequent businesses at the Vitrolite. It's a getaway of sorts to enjoy fitness, relaxation, and delicious food. I highly recommend a visit! I'm already planning the next trip to Vitrolite to visit the Finnish sauna.

Think hardwood floors, antique furniture, vintage elevators, and gorgeous wood details. I visited multiple events in this space - dinners, fashion show, concert, reading event, sauna hangout, and tea tasting. Every single experience introduced me to a different setup in this space. The space is a blank slate that can be reinvented for any occasion. It's always a lovely event space. Co-Working: The Brownhoist offers various co-working memberships from $10 to $130. Prices and details are available on their website. I haven't personally co-worked in this space but can vividly see how it could be used for co-working. There are multiple floors and nooks for your co-working needs. Desk space, atrium, commons, vaults, and other spaces. It's versatile for seclusion or socialization. Shop: There are multiple versatile vendors in this space - law offices, yoga studio, photo studio, tea vendor, and more. Based on my attendance of many events I understand that it's a very close knit community. I loved meeting tenants in this space and socializing. They all have been very friendly. I also had brief interactions with the owner, and he was very welcoming! The only downside is that there is no central directory to see who the tenants are and to see all their events in one space. I always discover new businesses in this space, and wish I knew about them. Events: The Brownhoist hosts the most interesting events. You check their social media (especially Instagram) if you are considering attending or renting. Some of the recent exciting events I have seen were art shows and dance classes. I consistently find something unique in this space. Parking: Parking is available onsite. There are also street parking options. Check their Instagram for parking maps. The Brownhoist is suitable for a particular audience. Creatives that are interested in a historic feel, not very modern amenities, and spaciousness. The area is not the best in CLE but I never once felt unsafe. If you're looking for a more modern building and experience, it might not be the perfect fit. If you love history and historic/versatile buildings, this is it! Personally I can't wait to find more unique experiences at the Brownhoist!

The mayor of Cleveland often hosts breakfast and lunch meetings or gatherings at the Union Club. Private events and weddings are held here and there is even a hotel inside for visitors to stay. I've been attending events at the Union Club for over a year now and a half now (since Sept. 2024). I attend these events through the CCWA speaker events. Many great speakers have come to the Union Club to speak on global topics. The dinner served at the private speaker events that I've attended is always delicious. Normally there is a starting dish such as a salad, then a main course such as salmon, beef, or steak along with a side, and the meal ends with a dessert. The building is old but it has been well kept over the years. It does get cold inside sometimes so perhaps the old nature of the building is an issue with heating but I am not 100% sure. The chandeliers in some of the rooms are beautiful with intricate details. The great reading room is quiet and serene with plenty of comfortable seating. Their membership cost is high and is thus only for those who know they will utilize everything that the Union Club has to offer such as member events, the gym, etc. I am not a member but I enjoy attending CCWA events here and I can't wait to return again soon. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 47/250 total reviews in 2026 - 888 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 24 April 2026
