As a working single mom with limited availability, it is very difficult to commit to an in-person visit without first knowing basic details such as tuition, program structure, and availability. I have never encountered a policy where absolutely no information could be shared prior to booking a tour. It felt unreasonable to expect parents to invest time away from work without confirming whether the program would even be a good fit financially or logistically. After reading other reviews, I noticed similar comments about the school being very "private." While I understand and appreciate maintaining security and privacy for the children, there should still be transparency and open communication with prospective parents. Feeling informed and included is essential when making decisions about our children's care and education. Unfortunately, the lack of openness made the environment feel unwelcoming rather than inviting. I would have loved the opportunity to explore becoming part of their community, but first impressions matter -- especially when it comes to our children.

I am deeply disturbed by my son's experience at this Kumon location and feel obligated to warn other parents. The environment is awful. The air conditioning barely works, so it's almost always hot and muggy. The space is bland and depressing, more like a jail cell than a place for children to learn. Staff behavior is completely unprofessional. I witnessed inappropriate physical contact with children, including touching their heads and aggressively tapping or slapping their hands. Basic hygiene is also ignored, children are not allowed to properly wash their hands and are told to rely only on hand sanitizer, with no visible hand-washing signage, which appears to violate OSHA sanitation standards. When the bathroom "wasn't working," children were forced to walk to Publix to use the restroom, essentially unsupervised and led by an untrained teenager. Bullying was also allowed to continue with no intervention from staff. The breaking point was Saturday, 1/24/26, when I picked up my son and found him in tears, screaming, crying, and begging me to never make him return. I am heartbroken and I absolutely blame myself for ever subjecting my child to this environment. This place is not disciplined or rigorous, it is harmful. Please do not bring your child here. Mind you this is my 7 year old son who has been attending since he was 5 and finally spoke up due to the bullying, he'd been scared to say anything all this time out of fear of Ms.Mahir and Ms.Mui.

He's spent most of his days with amazing teachers who taught him, fed him, changed him, soothed him and cared for him more than I could've imaged coming from someone other than me! There would be days where I was running late to work and have to drop him off in his pjs on an empty tummy and they would take him from me and cater to his needs. They helped me take the pacifier away, they practically potty trained him themselves!! I have never walked into a pre school/daycare as clean/sanitized, well organized and full of joy, as this one. The teachers all gave him one on one attention and knew whenever something wasn't right and always communicated with me on what was going on and ways to fix it. I get weekly lesson plans (extremely detailed), weekly newsletters on what's going on, what activities and events they're having, all loaded with pictures of Caleb and his classmates. I trust this preschool and the teachers there to protect my son and to teach him as much as they can, which is exactly what they've done. Ms.Colleen is the director there and she would go out of her way for any of her students and I could never repay this school for what they've done for Caleb and myself. I am so sad to leave this school and I recommend it to EVERYONE. Don't settle for anything less than what's best for your children, there's no better preschool out there. Not to mention the yearly shows that go on are absolutely incredible! The choreography, outfits and music they get the little ones to sing and dance to are so precious. Everything is so organized and well put together. If you're looking for a school that isn't about the money and cares for your children's future, this is the one. I will never go anywhere else. They have great teachers and staff that care so much for the children. My son feels safe and protected in this school. There is no fear of bullying or stereotyping because everyone there is seen as equal. The administration is amazing and so helpful. Their doors are always open. The staff is beyond exceptional. They are there to help your child succeed. There is a tight knit group of support within the families of the students that go there. Everyone feels like family. And their new facility is beautiful.
