BEWARE i was so excited to get this chemical peel at the Martin Center on 1/4/24, i thought that this would help my confidence but boy i was wrong.. KAREN was the person who did my chemical peel & ultimately lied from start to finish.. she said those "white marks" that you see on my face where perfectly normal when as you can see by the pictures i have posted below they were in fact an indication that my skin was being chemically burned.. i am so saddened & disappointed by this.. worst experience of my life & i have had a plethora of chemical peels, none of which have EVER burned me or left scarring.. i told her i had 2 major events to attend, a wedding this upcoming weekend & a concert next weekend & after i emailed them these same pictures Karen called me & told me that these were not chemical burns it was normal & that her & her nurse practitioner looked over it.. i could not believe my ears! im so sad with these results i don't even want to go anymore & to add insult to injury i sent these pictures in hoping to find some sort of solution but i was only met with a phone call from KAREN in which she spoke to me in a completely insensitive & condescending tone telling me "her & a nurse practitioner" looked over it & determined it wasn't a burn.. i told her you know what if that's what kind of corporation/business they are then it's very disappointing & saddens me that they could ruin a client's experience that way & do absolutely nothing to make it right.. i went to them to gain confidence & left feeling worse than when i walked in.. i can't even describe how upset i am behind this.. terrible company & people behind it. nothing in life is perfect but the lack of accountability behind their mistake is truly mind blowing. DO NOT do business here. another side note that i noticed, i went in with a $175 coupon that i showed her & she told me it was $200 when the coupon clearly stated it was valid til mid April.. i didn't argue, thought it was weird but i paid it anyway. shady, terrible company. they do NOT care about clients or experience, only financial profits. if i could give this place negative stars by how they handled this situation.. i would do it expeditiously. read more

Dr. Martin is the best there is, in my opinion, and everyone I know who's seen him agrees. I have serious questions about some of these other reviews. I had double jaw surgery a few years ago to fix a skeletal underbite. Afterwards, I still had a soft tissue deficiency and hanging skin under my chin from my jaw being moved back. Dr. Martin fixed it, at what I consider to be an extremely reasonable price, and I had almost no downtime. Since then, I've also had him do some light fillers to help round our my proportions from the soft tissue deficiencies in my mid-face area and have started doing Dysport in my forehead. I can't imagine going to anyone else or trusting someone the way I trust him. Edit to say that I've also always been treated very well by all of the staff from the receptionists, to the nurses, and so on. They've always gone above and beyond for me. read more

I just want to prevent anyone from accidentally having surgery here. They're nice people. I think. Just not good at what they do. I got a mini facelift here, and it looked stellar for exactly 3 months. While it's not WORSE than what I started with, it's pretty bad. They told me it looks great and I have body dysmorphia. Here's my neck currently. I'm 45, completely healthy... no reason why this should happen. read more

1 tattoo laser appointment deep and called to reschedule my next appointment a few days later when I'm notified they no longer offer this service I was promised. I was told I need 5 sessions to remove and I went for it, not prepared for them not to offer this service for my second-fifth session. Now I have weird tattoos thanks to Martin Center for not honoring current sessions once booked. Definitely won't be going back... They didn't handle customer service well either sadly. I had a rhinoplasty done June 2018 by Dr. Barber. It was just for cosmetic reason. My breathing was perfect. My nose job came out cricket. I hate my nose. I hate taking pictures because my nose makes me feel so ugly. My breathing is so awful now. I've blood clouts coming out of my nose still and it has been THREE years. My breathing has been so bad that I decided to see a ENT. I speak to a ENT and he told me how my nose has so many problems because of its shape and that the surgery wasn't successful. I called the office a few days ago and asked if I can go in for them to look at my nose and the nurse was like "I don't know what you're talking about." And told me that I've to pay for him to see my nose after I paid $8000 and he messed up my nose. Thanks fully I am having a new nose job by amazing surgeon in Houston soon. But please safe your money and do your reach before choosing this place. I also had lip injections done by Dr. Barber and it was awful as well. It was uneven.... I have been getting Botox/Dysport for about 5 years, so I know what works. I just paid for a full area on forehead and added units for between the eyes. I had $100 in rewards and paid around $250. I received it one month ago. It looked great for about two weeks. I went back in to because it already started fading. He tried to convince me I did not get enough and needed to get 10 more units, another $150. I have received full areas another place and this never happened. To add to that the Botox, I received gave me a wrinkle I didn't even have before above my eyebrow. I have noticed in the past that it never lasted as long when I used reward points or during a special. The staff is nice but not just trying to give my money away. Too many other places around to ever use them again. I have used them for many different lasers but will not be back and will spread the word. I have heard from other doctors that they assume from other patients that Martin Center dilutes the solution too much; I do believe that is the case. read more

Dr. Martin is very sweet and well meaning but two years ago I had one of his techs who won't say what her name is burn me with a laser on my chest. The scar is something that I have to look at every day of my life and from all of the research and additional procedures to my knowledge there is no undoing hypopigmentation. Since then I've been told by other doctors the techs should never be operating the laser without a doctor present or the doctor should be doing it himself. read more

I saw the negative reviews after I had already visited the Martin center. Yes, maybe the person that answers the phone isn't always perfectly nice and all we hope for. That's life. I care way more about the procedures I'm going to receive and in that context my visit was great. I had Botox on my forehead only and as it was my first time I was well informed by the doc and the nurse. They took time to address my questions and concerns. After the procedure I noticed that my forehead was smoother yes, but the tension I held there also went away alleviating the little headaches I would get. Am writing this review as I'm back and in the center waiting for my next round. Wouldn't be here again if they weren't professional, knowledgeable, incredibly clean, and gave the results I wanted. read more

Don't go here. I just paid an extra $500.00 for him to fix a mistake he made two weeks ago on a filler. To make matters worse, I found out after he fixed the side of my face he had made the mistake on, he used two types of filler. The first is supposed to last one year and the new one he used is supposed to last two years. That's going to be a big problem in a year. For this I have paid $1500.00! read more
