However, Dr…read more Grantham found a crack in one of my teeth and was really concerned about some upcoming orthopedic surgery I had planned. He said my cracked tooth would keep me from being ready for my hip replacement due to the risk of infection, etc. So he quickly made an early morning appointment for me for just a few days later. He extracted the tooth and I didn't feel anything! I never was sore or swollen. Of course, my face was numb for a few hours but other than that I had no problems whatsoever. He did a great job. I have used him for many years and will stick with him forever as long as he practices. I highly recommend him and his wonderful staff. They are superb.

But I did notice a project print in the corner where they will be building and moving to a new building. I've never used this dentist but my husband had a tooth he needed pulled. We sat and watched Matlock while we waited for his medicine to kick in. Free coffee and waters were available in the lobby. A lot of dentists will refuse to pull them and send you to an oral surgeon but Grantham did a great job. The staff is what really won me over. They were kind, caring and in a great mood. You just couldn't talk to them without smiling. Dr. Grantham took great care of my husband and gave incredible instructions on how to care for him. They even sent us home with a little care package with gauze and chicken noodle soup. The Gatorade they gave my husband after his sedation was "the best Gatorade he ever had." It was a new flavor, Intense Blue Cherry and I couldn't find it anywhere. I called the office and the sweet nurses told me exactly where I could buy it. I HIGHLY recommend this office and will definitely be returning.

They told my mother my pain tolerance was "just low"; they twilighted me for irrigation (due to an infection they claimed I didn't have), during which I woke up panicking because I was strapped to a chair, only to have David throw his instrument into his tray and say "Fuck it" before storming out of the room! They took a scan which they refused to release results of, and sent me home (to die). I had a necrotizing bacterial infection the spread from the opening the popped between my mouth and nasal cavity that spread and began eating the tissues in the back of my nasal cavity. I ended up hospitalized for weeks and had a PICC line inserted, due to prolonged need for Flagyll and Cipro IV. Don't send any of your family this guy's direction, he's literally the worst. :)

The waiting room is small, and each time we've been, people have had to sit in the hallway instead of in the waiting room due to not enough chairs. The staff is nice and friendly, as is Dr. Lairmore. The surgery went as expected, but the follow up appointment did not go so well. When he went to have his stitches removed, the girl who was removing his stitches somehow missed and sliced the inside of his cheek wide open. He said she didn't say a word (not even an apology) but just sat down her instruments, got up, and walked out of the room. Another lady came in and finished the job (correctly) muttering under her breath about not liking having to come in after someone else and fix their mess. I'm sure it was annoying to her, but it was even more annoying AND PAINFUL to my husband, laying there with a sliced open cheek on top of the pain from the surgery itself.

But I just went back and it was a completely new experience. 1. The waiting area was not putrid with air fresheners in every outlet!!! The office actually smelled like a dentist office! So wonderful! 2. My hygienist was new and had a nice personality! She was pretty and happy and not old and churchy. How nice! 3. They had HGTV on my TV and not the local news that makes me want to puncture my jugular with their pokey cleaning tools. 4. My NEW dentist sat his butt down on a freaking stool to examine my teeth instead of standing over me like a serial killer. (No, this is not a joke and I filed a formal complaint.) And I was thankful to have a new dentist to deliver the news that I had a small cavity that needed to be filled bc if my old dentist had made me imagine getting a filling by him...shudder* And I scheduled that filling and I went in and was out in an hour and my new dentist from the week before was still a completely normal dude the following Monday. He was super nice and very skilled and I am so happy with my filling! It's really smooth and perfectly moulded to my upper teeth and my floss doesn't catch. Perfection! I will definitely be going back and I am so glad my awful dentist's office has become such a turnaround story!! Still only 4 stars for the miserable years we shared together before now.

On Thursday May 21, 2026, I went in for a cleaning After I had my cleaning from the dental hygienist I had to leave for about 15 minutes to go home to take care of some business concerning my disabled husband, I told the Xray technician that I needed to leave for about 15 minutes to do this I told her That I would be right back that I was not far from the office I only had to talk to the doctor about my treatment. She said OK. When I came back a woman named Madison got in my face and started talking to me like I was a little girl saying oh you were not supposed to leave like that we were looking for you all around the clinic we checked the bathroom we did not know what happened to you. I had to tell her first of all you do not talk to me like I am a child accusing me of just leaving without telling anyone about it second of all you need to find out the whole story of why I had to leave. This not the way anyone should be treated.
