This place is awful. They must overbook their patients. My husband was told to get there at 6:30am for a 7:00 appointment. They weren't open. He wasn't called back until 8:00am. They performed a moes surgery and he had to wait 30 minutes for the result. It's now 11:00am and he's still waiting for the result. I just spoke to the receptionist to complain and she finally went back. She said he was clear and they are just waiting for a room to stitch him up. He was finally called back to get stitched up. Except for stitch removal, this is the first and last time seeing this doctor. read more

Along with retirement comes opportunity to spend more time outside doing the activities you just didnt have time to do while working. Playing golf and gardening in the sun has lead to spots of concern so visiting a dermatologist was in order. The front desk, nurses, and Dr Freeman were all fantastic. Being my first time to visit a dermatologist I had alotbof concerns and everyone went out of their way to make me comfortable. Dr Freeman let me know every step he was taking. Answering any questions I had to reassuring the results of the biopsies would be communicated as soon as possible. Made an appointment for certain time. Day of appointment I received a call stating my appointment is two hours prior to originally scheduled time. Confirm with receptionist that my appointment is indeed at original time scheduled. Get to office 15 min prior to original scheduled time only to be told I'm 2 hours late for my appointment and cannot see the doctor. After going back and forth with receptionist, she storms to the back to get a manager after my spouse approaches the counter in a calm friendly fashion. 10 min later.... Instead of owning up to the mistake they made they snobbishly asked for my spouse's information so they "can know who comes in with the patients". Seriously? It's sad, but two people completely ruined my experience with this office. read more

I have gone to this group since they opened up and liked everything about them/the office - and have sent many friends their way. I recently had a terrible experience and their response to same was underwhelming, to say the least. First, they called in an $800 ointment (which, after I told them I wouldn't pay for something that expensive, they called in (much later) the generic version for $24!). I had procedure done Fri morn. Left message Fri morn that I would not pay (and Blue Cross would not approve) $800 for ointment and asked that they phone in something less expensive. Never heard from them and they didn't call anything in -- so I went through the weekend in pain and with no meds. Called twice Mon - no call-back. Drove there on Mon (afraid they would continue to ignore me). A nurse & office mgr observed (from 3-5 ft away) that it looked infected and called in antibiotic. Doc never stopped in to look at it. Nurse never took a close look. They also overcharged me - stating that I had not met my deductible (which does not affect them at all) - I should have paid co-pay only. Still waiting for $159 refund. read more

After a very long wait I saw Dr Ramagosa for what was a very brief and rushed exam with mixed and unclear explanations. Afterwards I received a call from the billing and insurance clerk when I questioned certain charges. It was difficult to understand her as if she was gurgling and struggling to catch her breath while eating so as I attempted to interpret her comments it sounded as if she was billing my insurance company for procedures that were not performed. Unsure of her intentions I asked for clarification and she hung up which makes me further suspect her intent that hopefully I just misunderstood due to her incoherent remarks but just in case and not to be complicit I intend to report the incident to the BCBS and Healthcare FRAUD with the State Insurance Commissioner. read more

Dr Ramagosa is awesome as well as his NP. He's spot on with eczema in pediatrics!!! He's very knowledgeable. Only downside is that it's tough to get an appt initially with a long wait time but once you're in, you're good. We travel to daphne for faster service read more

I really enjoy this place, very nice people and good atmosphere. The only thing that really bothers me is that you can never get a call back! They called me to inform me on whether or not I could continue my Accutane journey, but I was at work and didn't answer. I called them later, no answer, and I left a message. Two days later, still no call back. I've called them two or three times since then and still no answer. I don't know if they're too busy or understaffed or what the deal is. Make sure you answer the first call you get from them, because it'll be a while until you speak with them again. read more

Short story. My wife and I when in for a thorough check up for skin cancers. After filling out paperwork and getting confirmation from sunrise that we were covered in the appointment and everything we would. We later get a bill in the mail letting us know our insurance didn't cover it and we were responsible. We really enjoyed our tops 15 minutes thorough look over. In and out made me feel like they could care less. Pay the bill or ruin your credit I was told. What great professionalism. read more

Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Freeman has performed several MOHs procedures for me. Cancer sucks but he and his staff help ease the ordeal of the stitches and made me as comfortable as possible. read more

Wow. The words that come to my mind as I write this is BEAUTIFUL, BREATHTAKING, and REFRESHING! Dr. Ramagosa is a welcoming fresh face to the Mobile area! The amazing part was that I got in to be seen the next day! NEXT DAY! OMG! My last dermatologist took me booking an appointment 2 months out! I almost fell out of my chair when I heard I could be seen next day! Dr Ramagosa's bedside manner was wonderful and positive. I had atypical moles taken off a few years ago and went in to have a certain one checked. He biopsied the mole in the office during my appointment instead of rescheduling me to come back for another visit like most doctors do (it's more money for them if they do)! He took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns( I had a lot!) He was so understanding and willing to listen! Truely down to earth. I have had some stuffy doctors that don't seem to care or listen and I am just another face and paycheck for them. Not Dr. Ramagosa! One thing that blow me away was a medication he prescribed me. He went out of his way to find a medication that was going to work well and be generic so it wouldn't cost me a lot of money! My last dermatologist knew I didn't have insurance and gave me a cream that was $175 to fill! Dr Ramagosa personally called me back with my test results! He and his staff were wonderful and so nice. The office building is brand new and so AMAZING! I felt like I was at a MedSpa in California! Dr Ramagosa told me that they have a space for an aethetics spa that he will be opening in the next 2-6 months. I asked them to call me the second they start taking appointments! read more
