I haven't been out on the water here, still less own one of the moored yachts (more's the pity!) but I've spent some happy hours wandering about the quayside looking at all the boats and generally watching the world go by. It's a great place to spend an afternoon, especially on a sunny day. The marina is surrounded by shops, restaurants and galleries which are very enticing. You can buy local paintings, sailing photographs or various arts and crafts.
Milford Haven is the largest town in Pembrokeshire and situated at the mouth of the River Cleddau. According to legend, in 1802 when he visited, Admiral Lord Nelson was so impressed that he declared Milford Haven one of the 'great harbours of the world'.
The annual Pembrokeshire Fish Week is held at the end of June each year on the quayside. read more
