Now we can find their gift shop treasures in town. Lots of really lovely alpaca products, along with local Bee Wranch honey and other gifts for critter lovers. Connects by door to the V6 breakfast bar and coffee shop next door so you can pass from one to the other without leaving either store. Interestingly, more evidence the Gage has pretty much taken over the entire block except for a couple of businesses, one which includes a regional bank a few doors down.

The outside had a bit of a western feel to it. On the inside, it was much larger than we anticipated with kid's toys, candy, and books to the right scattered with a variety of other merchandise like knicks knacks, magnets, stickers, cards, postcards, hats, collector's items, and more. When we entered to the other side past the register, however, much more sophisticated gifts in the form of women's fine jewelry, handmade soaps, purses, and women's clothing was nicely displayed. The lady at the register was nice enough, but she seemed to not care so much for kids. I purchased this t-shirt I have yet to wear because it has been so cold lately. It has Willie Nelson, Buddy Holly, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Billy Gibbons and reads "Texas Rockmore" below a Mount Rushmore-inspired photo of the four of them. We were never felt like we were loitering, needed to hurry up and buy something, or too loud. Really laidback. So we loitered, visited, and shopped. Came away with a few cool things that of course we didn't need, but we wanted and would bring joy. Easy to make your way through the store, there's lots of items that promote the history, archeology, geology, astrology etc of the local (50 mile circumfrance+/-) area that would provide good background reading, watching, use.

There is a small museum speaking to the history of the mining community, but when you walk in the entire store could be history of Terlingua and the surrounding area. This trade store has gifts for everyone. If you're looking to dress up your Xmas tree they have that. Looking for a hat (sombrero, trucker, cowboy), they got it. If you're looking for wine or hot sauce, they have it. They have a small book store. so the selection is huge and varied. I truly believe you can find any kind of gift in here for all your folks. When we went there it was later, after dinner at the Starlight Theater next door - so, there wasn't a lot of help at this store. The building is very neat rustic blue front with diamond cut windows. Rosenda's gift shop is a great place to find crystals at a very affordable price for rock hounds. I found a gorgeous amethyst crystal, rose quartz and pyrite to take home as gifts. The owner is the sweetest woman you will ever meet and gave me a small quartz crystal to keep in my pocket for good luck. She also sells balloons and custom gift baskets. This place is cash only so come ready with cash to spend because you will find something you will want to take home for yourself or a loved one.
