When we arrived (Saturday evening) the place was very quiet, but it got busier as the evening progressed. The servings were very generous and the quality of the food was outstanding. Best of all, our server was exceptionally good: very attentive to questions, checking in frequently without "hovering," and as pleasant and hospitable as we could have hoped for. I had more then I was able to handle. The only complaint I have was having their children in the kitchen to which I think is a no no. I work in a restaurant kitchen and I know how hot the deep fryers, ovens, and dishwashers are, and to have children in the kitchen around food is just not safe for the public.

We were seated at a very delapidated seat at the window and given menus. I noticed a lot of east indian meals listed. Our order was taken by a nice young waitress and brought out in short order. My order consisted of sausage/eggs/toast and potato chunks. The plate looked quite bland, not extremely appealing, the sausage was dripping so much oil that i used two napkins to soak up the residual. The eggs cooked as requested, the potato chunks were dried up as if left over from the previous day. I have never before seen assorted jams repackaged in small containers and left out on the table. This was the first time i have been offered a visa machine to pay where the tip starts at 15%. Next time in Nanton we will not return to the Bridge but try another restaurant.
