Came here about 30 mins before closing so we had to get to-go food. I ordered the mango chicken and my husband got the beef tandoori. My chicken was actually delicious (4 stars - I rated it this way because I didn't like the small portion salad that came with it at all)). But my husband's tandoori was extremely EXTREMELY salty (1 star) it's the point you almost gag from it. We came here on recommendation from a local. Great food, good prices, amazing service!!! My colleague and I ate in while travelling in the area and we were hungry when we ordered. So, naturally we ordered way too much food and couldn't eat it all. The portions were large and good value for the money. Everything tasted delicious!! The servers were attentive and friendly, offering recommendations as we asked about certain things on the menu. My colleague was going to order a beer, and the server suggested the 3 beer special since he was going to be ordering more than one. I found that super helpful!! If I remember correctly it was basically 3 for the price of two?!?! Ambiance was very nice and we sat in a booth which gives nice cozy vibes and some privacy. Excellent lentil dish, shrimp biriyani, papadum, and garlic naan. One dish came out to spicy and they brought it back less spicy.

Location and outside decor not very enticing, but lots of free parking. Inviting decor inside with some lovely traditional Indian furniture to add a sense Of location. Ordered Samosa, Mango Shrimp, Butter Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo. Added Nam bread and rice. Too much food for for three seniors. Reasonable value for the money, but having to pay separately for bread and rice was unusual. Nice meal, attentive service, reasonably priced if limited wine list and tasty food well prepared. I could smell my curries in the brown bag immediately when I opened the door to receive order! It was so flavourful with Indian spices and the spice level of medium hot was exactly medium hot. This is the best Indian food I have ever had! I will only be ordering from here in the future. We got the butter chicken, beef vindaloo, and the daal tadka with a side of garlic naan. We literally haven't even left the parking lot yet. That's how anxious I am to write this review. My boyfriend and I are traveling to Banff from Utah and stopped in Lethbridge for some lunch. We decided to stop at The Mango Tree! We were greeted by the very nice employees and promptly sat. A man whom I assume is the owner, told us about a buffet they were doing for a local church and let us know we were welcome to partake in it for just a few dollars more than a normal entree. We decided to just order entrees due to being in a little bit of a hurry. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Coconut Curry. The tikka Masala was very good. Full of flavor! The Chicken Coconut Curry was OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. Like, honestly, it was an absolute privilege to be able to eat it. I couldn't stop raving about how good it was. And I actually really loved mixing the two dishes together! We ordered 1 side of rice and 1 order of garlic naan and it was enough for both of us. The staff was so friendly and the establishment was very clean and nice! Moral of the story, if you're in Lethbridge and are in the mood for the greatest Indian food you've ever had, I suggest coming here. read more

This was only my 2nd visit to Lethbridge, and Caroline felt like having East Indian food, so she ordered Korma Chicken and I tried the Coconut Chicken lunch special, both accompanied by garlic naan and mango lassi. Tender, delicious chicken beautifully prepped, and trimmed of fat. Naan was pillowy and then crisp at the edges. To find the restaurant, you can spot the building by its big black window awnings with yellow. It is on a somewhat industrial side of town, somewhat busy street. There are a lot of storefronts across the street, but this building is unattached, and it has a driveway with parking in the back. The interior is spotless, modern, with beautiful decor. They must take a lot of pride in their business, and it shows. I found the Butter Chicken sweet and tangy. You have to order the rice and naan extra, BTW. (Entree about $15 CAN, then 1.75 rice and a couple $ naan. A little $ but beggars can't be choosers up here, and it's well worth it. I enjoyed my lunch. I was the first person there, at 11a! The portions were generous; I had enough for leftovers. The naan is one giant cut into 2 halves. The basmati was nicely loose and perfect. Delicious. In town from the U.S. and haven't had good Indian food since I moved away from California. Ordered the papadum, the bhindi masala (okra), and the fish tikka masala with rice. Both entrees were flavorful and distinct with portions large enough I am on my second day of leftovers. The okra was my favorite--tender, spicy, tomato-y pieces of okra with a subtle crunch left in them. It stood out as some of the best Indian restaurant food I've had. My partner loved the tikka masala, which was good in my opinion but less special. The papadum were big and tasty. Next time, I'll order more vegetarian food as those dishes were the standouts. read more

Vegetable pakoras and butter sauce prawns are among the many tasty items.
