We visited the Malted Monkey and really enjoyed our experience. Despite not going in the ropes course, it was really cool to watch others try it out. When we were there, the staff was all women and everybody was very kind and gave great suggestions. I thought that the food was decently priced and I wasn't too hungry so I ended up splitting the grilled cheese with my daughter. It was really tasty and they had crispy Parmesan cheese coating the bread on the outside. We ended up splitting a larger size s'mores milkshake and it was delicious. The price of the milkshakes is a little steep, but you do get quite a large pour and they definitely make it look pretty! read more

Stopped by here with a couple of kids and adults on a hot afternoon. The kids and adults alike enjoyed the ropes course with the variations of difficulty. The patio below gave a nice view point of the ropes course while being cooled down by misters and drinking adult milkshakes. The milkshakes were delicious, though I was super surprised by the addition of peanut butter in my Cinna'rum Crunch shake as it was not a listed ingredient, which could have been dangerous for someone with a peanut allergy. (Which is why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 5) . Our waitress was friendly and did try to get answers about the peanut butter in my shake but seemed to not understand my concern and neither did the people who made it. So be aware if you have an allergy as not all ingredients are listed nor are the staff concerned with possible allergies. read more

We had a 10 top of people food took a little over 30 minutes but when it got here it was delicious and hot depending (i got a strawberry chicken salad i wished it had more of ingredients instead of lettuce) what everyone on got no one had complaints and the severs made sure everyone had drinks since it was hot outside , The restaurant has very nice music going and the rope course is small but just the right size for anyone under the age 15. read more

With it being a hot summer day on the lake, I was in the mood for some ice cream and someone recommended this spot. They have a plethora of large milkshakes as well as some boozy milkshakes as well. In addition, they have a food menu as well, but I had a sugar hankering. I opted to get the Mr. Screwball milkshake which has vanilla ice cream, peanut butter whiskey, peanut butter, and chocolate in it and it was delicious. We had the best time at Malted Monkey! We didn't eat anything, but we did the obstacle course for almost three hours. They were so patient as my husband and I took turns between our big kid who was climbing and our baby who was too small. It was our son's favorite part of the trip! Great activity for kids while the adults enjoy boozy malts and beer! Admission is around $25 pp and our kids spent about an hour climbing and exploring the ropes course. Their course was better than other we have used because it has an integrated zip line. Mom and Dad sat and had a malt and beer and relaxed. It's so much fun! read more

Dlow service and food prep. A Simple burger prep took an hour and fifteen plus. The teens working as servers could care less. The Kevin Bacon burger was served cold. Flys infested the restaurant area constantly but it's our doors sooo you gotta go with it. Waitress was asked repeatedly for simple stuff like water and ketchup. They certainly got my money the easy way. We were told an hour wait for two to climb. At that point did not realize you had to make a reservation. Ended up being closer to an hour and a half wait. There is no board telling you where you are at in line, so had to wait in the long line to get to the window to inquire. There is no option on line to check in to get onto a wait list. Staff at the window were nice. The two climbers only went for 30 minutes and then were done. I hesitated even going because "once you come down you are done". The sign at the place did say one bathroom and water break allowed. Being that it cost $30 to get in I made sure my two climbers were done before they actually stopped. They had fun jumping off the 4th story ledge to come down. There are only 4 levels so as soon as you get up, there is not much else to do. Slowest zipline I have seen for a climbing course. Did order a grown up milkshake, took about 20 minutes to get delivered. Wait staff was polite. Grown up shake was delicious. So if you have time and money to waste, check it out. read more

We put in our name for what we were told was 45 minutes to an hour wait. So we chose to walk down the strip to Dogpatch Arcade. We were gone for maybe 20 minutes when they "called". They left no message and I'm pretty sure they let the phone ring once and then dialed again and let it ring once because I didn't hear it ring at all. When I called the number back I got a rude girl on the phone told her I gotta a call from this number she responded with ok well this is the malted monkey. I said I did have my name on list. She responded with a rude well we called twice you're off the list! I was like ok, I guess. She goes you can go back to the bottom. I was like we are just down the strip and I missed the call by 5 minutes. She said too bad and hung up. It was my daughters 10th birthday and this is what she wanted. We rallied and decided to still go get a milkshake. The girl working Brittney took what seemed like an eternity to even serve us. She definitely paid more attention to people spending more money. My daughter was the only one who wanted a shake. My boyfriend and I got sodas that were pure carbonation. She had her shake and loved it. So there's that. We were hounded like 3 times about ordering food which we politely declined. Then Brittney disappeared and we had to wait an addition 20 minutes to check out to leave. I had to go find someone else to check us out, Adam I believe. I think some actual adults need to be working there and maybe don't let the inmates run the asylum. read more

Absolutely THE best family fun time we have had in a long time. I have a back injury and a spinal cord stimulator, but this in no way could injure me further; fun without risk, but feels risky. What could be better? Oh, add ice cream shakes and shakes with alcohol for the adults. They have that as well. We ordered the Kevin Bacon burger with fries. The burger was delicious, but small, which was still too much for me. The fries were the best. OMGOODNESS the fries were good. The service was solid on both the adventure side and the food side. The only recommendations I would make is to have locks for the lockers that the guest can use to control access to the lockers and take photos to sell to guests. read more

8:00 on a Sunday night (as their hours specifically say until 10:30 on Friday, Saturday, & sunday (the ONLY three days the sky view is open) and the high school girl at the front desk is sitting on the counter & has the audacity to say they are closing so she's unable to give our group tickets. This is a very unprofessional way of running a business, & I'd hope the girl is fired. If you can't have your business open for the hours specified, adjust them, or don't open at all! Service was horrible. Waited approximately 60 minutes and our food never came. Other orders that were placed well after ours came out. We were told numerous times our food was coming out any minute so we continued to wait patiently. When we inquired if our food was coming, we were met with anger. We only ordered a double burger and a chicken sandwich and two kids' meals. The lady who made our shakes that we ordered after 45 minutes waiting was very pleasant, but she was the only one. We finally gave up on the food and asked just to pay for our shakes and the manager in the back was extremely rude. She said well what do you want me to do? She again said our food was almost done, yet no food appeared. It was the first time we saw her the entire hour we were there and her rudeness was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I understand a business being busy but this establishment was disorganized chaos and their employees were combative for no reason.
