I ask the worker how much it was and he said 55. I don't have enough money so I show it to my grandpa. Grandpa goes and gets his truck but I walk back into The store, I ask if the worker could hold the jacket back for me and he says he could to layaway. I give him my number and not even 1 minute after leaving the store he calls me back. He said "I have good news on the jacket Madi" I said "what is it?" He proceeded to tell me the woman behind me put 20 dollars on my jacket to hold it there, I began to cry because I knew it was a gift from someone above signaling me I'm moving in the right place towards Jesus. The man also told me that Put 5 dollars towards it so now I only have to pay 30 dollars for the jacket. I love people so much. My grandpa got it for me he's sneaky. He says u left something in the truck come get it. He starts laughing. My goodness he gave me the biggest kiss on my head and he said u wanted it u got it.

There is a vast selection and some very nice things and some yard sale nonsense. Slim pickins' for the true collector. It's difficult to gauge value and cost worth because of all the different owners. I have seen situations where there's a price window and in certain events, they will call the owner to dicker on price. It's spacious. Very spacious. With all the variety it's impossible to organize, yet, they can direct you to most items you're looking for. The folks operating the store are very kind and really try to guide you to booths that may have what you're in search of. This place is the cutest. It's a pottery painting studio that's also a coffee shop. So you can…read morevisit just to grab a coffee or hot chocolate or tea, or you can visit to paint some pottery, or both! I highly recommend doing both. You should know, though: This place seems to get very busy on the weekends, and they do not take reservations. So if you want to beat the crowds, your best bet is to get there right when they open. If all of the painting tables are full, you will need to wait outside until someone leaves. That could be 10 minutes, which is what it was for us. Or, like the nice man who works there pointed out, it could be 30 minutes or more, because there is no time limit once you're at the painting tables, because the creative process can't be rushed. Fair enough. Once we got a table, we walked around the store and looked at all of the pottery options. They had bowls, plates, piggy banks, coasters, planters, trinkets and ornaments (these are seasonal). My kids picked out a truck piggy bank and a kitty ornament. Pottery pieces vary in price -- the ornament cost around $12, and the piggy bank cost $35. Next we made our way to the painting station, where we loaded up our pallets with paint. They recommend using three coats of paint for the brightest finish, but my kids, who are impatient like all children, only did one coat of paint and their pieces came out really well. After you're done painting, you leave your pieces on the table, pay for them at the register, and then Art & Clay on Main fires them and glosses them, and you pick them up about a week later. It is so cool to finally get your finished pieces. Ours really looked professionally done! While we were painting, we ordered some hot chocolate with whipped cream, and drank and painted at a leisurely pace. It was a nice and relaxing family activity, and my kids were really into it. I highly recommend dropping by Art & Clay on Main if you're in downtown Lancaster if you're looking for a fun and relaxing activity with your kids.

A second, larger train layout is located around the corner, where the Hocking Valley Model Railroad Club has a very nice set up. They have some good step stools available too, so those who need it can get a better look at all of the neat details and the trains. The store offers a wide variety of hobby models, including not only a good selection of train items, of course, but also planes, monster trucks, and even some neat animals and dinos. In the back are some glass display cases where they show off some completed models, which were neat to see too. There's a small parking lot to the side of the building.
