My reward for doing so is a no return policy on a pair of boots bought before Christmas. The receipt was there but they have a no exchange, no return policy after 30 days. Even if those 30 days involved a Christmas gift that say under the tree awaiting a teenage girl whose feet were still growing. We just wanted a larger size and were told it violated store policy. So here is another place that has lost my business and forced me to make the trek to the big city where the policy is "we want your business and the customer is frequently right." Especially the ones carrying a store receipt.

Anyway, First, we walk in and are half-yelled at to put our bags by the door as if we're gonna steal something. Later, I saw two other girls walk in and they didn't tell them to put their bags down. It was like they had something against us. I'd been there only once before. Then there was some chalk and other drawings on the wall so we drew a line and got yelled at. We could've just been asked nicely and we would've stopped. It was just plain rude. It was like they had something against us because of our age. The woman was being perfectly nice to other college age customers. It made me just plain angry. I never want to go there again.

Owner is outwardly transphobic which is reflected in the store. Despite this a group of my friends and I went in hoping to find some pins and jewelry. While we were browsing, owner (with terrible poodle hair and ugly ass sweater) stared us down making us uncomfortable. After picking out 2 pins to purchase the owner took them from his hands and told each of us we would need to leave and we're not welcome back. We were not being loud, rowdy, stealing, expressing any opinions; only looking to buy items. One member of our group was visibly trans and we received information from a store next door that she is known for kicking people out that look visibly queer. Do not even walk into this store. The owner is a vile snake that does not deserve any of Athens patronage. read more

awful. store owner is verbally abusive to teens. i had to step in so the woman would stop screaming at a crying girl for CLOSING HER HAND AT CHECKOUT on a ring. because that's 'stealing.' even tho the girl had her arms full and was trying to get her wallet?? overpriced. saw something that looked to be from goodwill, saw the tag on the floor nearby. don't support local businesses who don't treat you with respect. just because the owner is not a billionaire doesn't mean they deserve your business. don't give shitty owners money, you're enabling their toxic behavior. read more

Owner is a crazy TERF and her hateful ideology has NO place on Court Street. I was accused of stealing when I had sunglasses on my head, that I owned. She tried to charge me for them and took them off my head to make sure they weren't from her lame ass aliexpress resell shop. You can find all of her cheap jewelry and quirky t shirts on Shein, Temu, or Aliexpress for a fraction of the price. I am against fast fashion but that is just the reality. Don't waste your money and line her pockets. She deserves none of it. read more

Owner has an extremely ugly spirit and will most likely reside in the pits. The options were all way too expensive and overpriced. You can find better quality items at a gas station for cheaper. Definitely a joke of a store and the owner needs to sit down and read a book. Hates women, LGBTQ+, and people of color. I think most of the prices are right - and if you buy something here rather than on eBay or Bonanza or Mercari the money stays in the region - and you won't have to pay for it to be sent somewhere else.
