Found a hair in my salad underneath the dressing. GROSS!!! Don't they wear hair nets??? When I called and asked to speak to the manager, they hung up on me!!! When I called back, she refused to make it right. (I asked for a refund and a $10 gift card, so if they messed up again, I wasn't out money) She said we are a small business we can't give out a gift card. I was shocked! The salad cost more than $10. Delightfully fresh and clean lunch spot. They have daily specials- can't wait to try more. The food is yummy good, and service is friendly and fast. I had a chicken salad sandwich with a Demi of broccoli and cheddar soup- see pic- that comes served in a delightful little demitasse cup and with a nice piece of cornbread. An unexpected treat for sure! Loved this place- and will be back for more lunches and prepared dishes from their freezer case. read more

We stopped at lunch time. The place was doing quite well. With that many customers, they must be doing something right. We ordered a grilled chicken salad, shrimp po-boy, and the hickory burger. The shrimp in the po-boy was very nicely cooked and seasoned. The burger had great flavor and was juicy. The grilled chicken salad had a lemon vinaigrette that was absolutely delicious. The vibe was good as well as the service. They have individual serve cookies for sale, but I'd have to say that with those prices for those cookies, it's almost is if they are paying me to eat them. They also have full meals made to take home and heat in the oven. This place is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. read more

What a wonderful Christmas luncheon our water aerobics class from LAC celebrated at Main Dish today! Venus was our waitress and she was an absolute delight and it's not an easy task keeping 12 ladies and 1 gentleman going! We enjoy the quiet private dining room and appreciate that they allow us to show our baking skills, bringing our own desserts! The space is perfect for our group and their menu has something delicious for everyone and every dietary need! We have held our annual Christmas luncheon here for the last 3 years and hope to continue for years to come!! read more

Just discovered the Main Dish & More. Very impressed. Good quick service and the food was delicious. I had the entree chicken and wild rice which came with a salad and bread. The restaurant is exceptionally clean and in order. As others have stated, they have many meals you can purchase to take home and heat for later. I'm excited to come back and try more menu items. We regularly enjoy lunch here and pick up a casserole to take home for later. Sometimes when you are a regular, you get catch them on off days. However this is not the case with Main Dish. The quality of the food is always fresh and very good. They are very consistent. I have been to many events where someone has brought some chicken salad from here and everyone always comments on how good it is. We enjoy all of their soups, sandwiches, and occasionally their salads. I always have good service when we eat at the restaurant. I took a chance today and ordered the Chicken Salad Salad, Formerly known as the Chicken Salad Chef. Let me just say that I am a fan of drowning my food in ranch and adding seasoning to support flavor. This was not the case today, the amount of ranch I got with the salad was enough for me to actually enjoy the salad itself. The eggs, tomatoes and the lettuce was framer's market fresh! The chicken salad was absolutely to die for, I literally would've told my clients my office was closed had I had any during my quick lunch, I devoured everything.
