DEFINITION OF A SANCTUARY: ROWEN AT THE PINEHILLS - THANK YOU, JOE FITZGIBBON, CHIEF ENGINEER…read more A large part of what makes living at the Rowen so heavenly is the superlative Maintenance Crew who keep the premises looking pristine, day-in, day-out, even nine months after officially welcoming new residents. At this time, I'd like to send a huge thank you to Chief Maintenance Engineer and Supervisor JOE FITZGIBBON who oversaw the correction of what I considered to be a significant construction issue in my new apartment right before I moved in (the bathroom and closet doors in one of the bedrooms had been hung incorrectly by the third-party construction crew, such that both doors swung into the room, cutting off significant floor space). I thought it sounded like a relatively easy fix, but I learned after-the-fact that it involved calling back in the construction crew, reframing both doors, and retiling a small portion of the bathroom floor. Yikes! I was initially told nothing could be done (construction finished), but Joe took inordinate steps to see that the issue was corrected to allow me much-needed space in the bedroom for my furnishings. He also went the extra mile with concierge-level service after I moved in by stopping by to welcome me to the community and to conduct another walk-through of the apartment to ensure everything was up to my liking. Thank you so much, Joe, for stepping in on my behalf, working your magic, and "getting 'er done!" despite the odds. It's your construction/engineering expertise, diligence, and most importantly your focus on the happiness, comfort and safety of residents, that keep the Rowen running like a beautiful Swiss clock. Kudos to you, Chris Anthony and your entire very friendly and very capable team! - Christina England

Carefully consider your decision, if you have kids. The Cove is advertised as luxury apartments,…read morebut a significant portion is affordable housing. Most complexes have affordable housing under 10%, but The Cove In Hingham from what I've seen and heard has 20% to 25%. This may be the right place for you, but shop around to make the correct decision. - Parking is an issue, people are forced to park in the street and at Stop and Shop. Can you imagine renting, and then finding out you don't have parking? - Our 1st floor unit was great until it got warm out, and then a septic smell envelops the unit. (They did tried to fix, but it seemed to be a design issue) - Grills outside are dirty and unkept - A few unsettling angry dogs events (ask about that) I could go on, but looking in the rearview mirror, I wouldn't have rented there. Again shop around and good luck!

I am surprised this company stays in business. Between the lack of customer service and the lack of skills. Once that was said it explained why so many mistakes and lack of customer service. They are spread to thin but it keeps their profit margins large.
